Actually, many have called in to the Houston talk shows, and all of the ones I have heard (approx 20 over a couple of weeks) want border control and no amnesty. There are mixed opinions from them on what to do with the folks already here. Nevertheless, there is evidence. I'll leave it to others to determine what %.On the other hand, a bunch took to the streets in protest, but I'm not sure how well-informed they are, based on interviews (the ones interviewed seemed to think they were going to suffer).

Things, you need to remember that there are a lot of different viewpoints that might be considered liberal. I'm a liberal type, but I am strongly in support of border control. In fact, until we can stop people from coming in illegally any law we make concerning immigration is pointless.We have to control our borders. To me, this issue must be resolved before we can address what to do with those already here illegally and how many people we are going to let in going forward.

I have written "stop the invasion. secure the southern border FIRST, or you will not be re-elected" to all my "representatives", but to no avail.
The polls indicate the people want that action, but the pols are not representing us.
