Click on the link and do a quick sign up. For those of you that use aol or something like that, make sure to edit your location. Also, I've made 4 kinds of pins: male evo, female evo, male creo, and female creo. A photo on your pin would be nice as well.

Tell me if you want administrative access to that map and its contents.

Hey people, don't forget to put your EvC username on the pins.

This isn't working for me. I signed up but then I sign in and it gives me another sign-in form. But I hit the tab that says something about the map and it asks me where I live. I type that in but it only gives me the option of being a female or male evolutionist, not a creationist. I gave up after three tries.

Hang on, I'll try to fix it.
Added by edit
I changed it so you're either evo or creo. Makes it simpler.

This new Yahoo map is set up like Google Maps. Hold down the mouse key to drag the map to see other regions of the world. I found the +/- buttons to be buggy, and I didn't try the other buttons.
In case it isn't clear to people, you don't have to log in or create an account or anything. Just fill in the box that overlays the map. Click on the link that the box has to set your location properly, then fill in your name, and click on the browse button to add your avatar, assuming you still have a copy on your local machine and remember where it is.
If you can't find your avatar on your own machine, just copy it from EvC Forum. Place the mouse over your avatar at EvC Forum and right click, then select copy. Go to a directory and click paste, rename as necessary. Now you can go back to the map and click on browse to select that file.

Might be on there but not really working for me
I think I'm the pin in Vancouver BC. I didn't get a chance to pic evo/creo etc. And my name doesn't show though I put that in.
I didn't log in so it can't know who I am. It hangs up under firefox or IE if I try to zoom in or find anything out about any pins. It's not worth fighting with.

I'm sorry, Ned, but you are on there as Ned. Would you like me to change it to Neddy?

For those who are too afraid to put a pin on the map, here is what it looks like so far
As you can see, the one creationist on there is hopelessly surrounded.

well, as far as I know, I'v added myself.
i'm the one in boulder, naturally. and yet, I'm not a geology major.
how do you get it to show which side you're on--is it you controlling that, or something else?
and I wish I could figure out how to add the avatar.
abe:
oh, and I had no problem with the zoom in buttons.

If I was paranoid, I'd be worried that it already knows where I live.
On the other hand, I'm reassured that it thinks I live in the Post Office (which is only partially true).

How to fix?
I added myself, while at work. Now I'm home. How do I tell it that I am already on the map, instead of it wanting to add me again.
I thought I had added my avatar while at work, but I see it is not there. What did I do wrong?

Re: How to fix?
nwr, all you have to do is fine your pin while at work again and press on the "move pin" link in the box. Why at work? It will recognize your work ip and let you edit it. The second option is I'll do it for you if you pay me
Hey percy, how did you do it without admin access? Just realized I didn't know how to do this without being signed in, or do you have to sign in?

Ok, people, I figured out how to solve all your problems. Below the map are 2 tabs. Click on "map options". On the right below that are a series of options, like my space and stuff. Click on "add yourself" 3rd one down. There, you can put your name in, pick pin color, attach photo, stuff like that. Make sure you enter the code that you see at the bottom of this box. Oh, don't forget to put in your location. That's the most important part of it.
map options -> add yourself
