Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, but I am no stranger to the creation vs evolution debates.
In fact, I participated so much, I decided to make an online parody game of the everlasting conflict. It is still in beta, but its getting close to being finished.
Since this seems to be a pretty big crevo forum, I think I might share this with you so you can have some kicks from it. So far people on other crevo forums seem to have enjoyed it, I hope you do to...
anyways, the game is on:
http://crevoscope.com
Do tell me what you think/ how I should change or improve it.

I highly recommend you stay around at least for a month and try to bring your post count up to at least 10 or so... even if they're just trash talk. Otherwise, this thread will be labeled as spam and you as spammer.

Should a Theistic Evolutionist pick the Creationist or Evolutionist side?

If you proclaim yourself to be an evolutionist, theistic or not, you should know better than to ask this question. The theory of evolution says nothing about the "cosmic purpose" behind evolution or if there was a god designing natural selection or not. Science is neutral on theological questions.

If you proclaim yourself to be an evolutionist, theistic or not, you should know better than to ask this question.
It all depends on how you look at it, or define it.
I could just as easily say Evolutionary Creationist, or some equivalent, and then "know better" than to ask.
You could aldo define evolutionist as non-creationist.
It depends on the "purpose" of the game...
Should there be closer to 50/50 split on each side - by defining evo as non-creo - or should it be more like 90/10 - by defining creo as non-evo?
The theory of evolution says nothing about the "cosmic purpose" behind evolution or if there was a god designing natural selection or not.
So then the two 'sides' are not mutually exclusive and my question is still "on what basis do you decide which side to pick?"
Science is neutral on theological questions.
With Occam's Razor, its not always neutral.

You mean I need to stay around for a month before I can post in the coffee house?!
Getting 10 post count should be easy... and I dont trash talk... As a forum owner/ modder of forums, I hate trash talk and spam, as well as people who would come in only to post a single message.
I am using this topic as also a way to get into this forum. My way of an introduction (Instead of a generic "Hi I'm steve" I decided to do "Hi, I like the CvE debates and I can prove it: bam)

Yeah, I have given a lot of throught on if I should incorporate theistic evolution, and I decided against it.
Remember, my game is a parody, you should have fun regardless of which side you take, all sides are made fun of.
However, I would recomand that you choose the cre side simply because I have an uneven amount, evos clearly outnumbering the cres

creationists should get sticks and stones. especially stones. and maybe the occasional holy grenade of antioch. but mostly stones.
"evolutionists" should get all the advantages of science. namely, rocket launchers. especially rocket launchers. maybe viral warfare, but that's unethical. but definitely rocket launchers.

Occam's Razor belongs to logic, and sometimes science has nothing to do with logic. Sometimes, science just is.

This is because creationists often have trouble understanding how a computer works

No, there isn't a minimum number of posts before you can post in coffee house. It's a good thing that you've come back and post something else.
The people that are in high places here look down upon an introduction post/thread that is for the sole purpose of promoting something off-site, profit or nonprofit. To counter spammers, we've installed a system that will automatically charge $20 to your credit card if you have less than 10 posts.

I ain't signing up, I have to pick a side, creation or evolution.
Just because we may have evolved from whatever, doesn't mean we weren't created.

Haha, I really should get me one of those systems, it would really come in handy.
Also, as for the verification code being wrong, I am quite surprised as nobody told me they had such an error before. Could you do me a favor and tell me what code was sent to you in the email?
Also, I have manually overridden the email verification process. Your account has now been activated.
