Somehow inspired by the Buzsaw message at
message 11 of the "Attention All EvC Members" topic.
There Buzsaw quotes a bit of Nighttrain :
Nighttrain writes:

Well, Buz didn't take this and the message it came from well, which to some degree in understandable, especially considering the topic it's in.
Anyhow, this got me to thinking - Do those on the creationist side ever consider how much education some of those of the evolution side have.
In geology we have a fair number of members with masters degrees in geology, and a PhD probably shows up now and then. In biology there are probably even more MS and Phded individuals.
Now, I'm not doing any sort of "argument by authority" thing, but don't you think that these people know an lot about their respective scientific fields? You are talking things geology and biology, with people that have devoted their professional lives to those fields. Yet some creationists can't help but seem that they truly think they themselves know and understand those fields better.
I'm not trying to start any sort of flaming, but is not the above situation pretty much a fact?
