The following are examples of syllogistic arguments that are missing the conclusions. Study the two reasons very carefully and complete the syllogism with the conclusion that logically follows.

6. All fragile things are breakable things.
Some glasses are fragile things.
Therefore

7. All mammals are warm-blooded animals.
All whales are mammals.
Therefore

8. All books are things with pages.
Some books are mysteries.
Therefore

9. All flowers are pretty objects.
All pansies are flowers.
Therefore

10. No animals are plants.
All sheep are animals.
Therefore

This is similar to your other Proposed New topic
Hello again, htonibutter! (I am gonna call you HT for short!)
Here at EvC, we limit topics that are similar to others, preferring to have everyone explain their points in one or the other. You sound as if you are a younger student who is having a great time learning new concepts!

Good job for staying in focus and concentrating on your studies! Save this topic and if we approve your other post, you can add this one onto it as an answer and a challenge to the EvC members.

Rather than starting lots of new posts, try and focus your answers to conform to the posts already opened, by yourself and others.

We would rather have ten good posts done well than a hundred posts without a solid point. Keep thinking and creating!
