I've also been having the HTML font size work correctly.
Test: {This line should be in the size 1 font} Adminnemooseus ps: Seems to be working fine here. I was having the problem in a "Private Admin Forum" topic. Just checked that one again - Still not working there.

At the search page, I was:
- Searching all open forums - Searching for a word in a thread title I couldn't get any results. I tried different capitalizations. Also, how is searching "Threads" different from "Messages" and "Subjects" ? This message has been edited by Ben, Monday, 2005/05/09 04:04 PM

This problem has been addressed by many members, including myself, many times before. I'm sure one day Percy will have the time to update the search engine.
I couldn't get any results. I tried different capitalizations. Also, how is searching "Threads" different from "Messages" and "Subjects" ? Messages: The search engine will look for the words in the individual messages. Threads: The search engine will look for words in the subtitles of each of the messages. Subjects: the search engine is suppose to look for words in the thread titles. This part of the engine is not and have never been working as far as I know.

Alright, alright, I'll look at it. Searching simultaneously by words and member also doesn't work, I'll check that out, too. The bugs manifest themselves only at the website, not on my development system, so I suspect a Perl version difference.

I recently added a new size code for css, problem was caused by not updating the css file from Board Central. Problem now fixed.

In the worst case, I would suggest just "disabling" the feature by commenting out THAT selection in the combo box. That would save confusion and complaints.
Or, if it's selected, just pop an alert box ("not implemented. my bad!")

I would like to draw attention to a glitch occuring in two recent posts of mine lately where the bulk of a reply has been cut short.Is there a problem on my end or is it with this board?

http://EvC Forum: Analyzing Intelligent Design {a structural construction of ID theory} -->EvC Forum: Analyzing Intelligent Design {a structural construction of ID theory}
http://EvC Forum: Analyzing Intelligent Design {a structural construction of ID theory} -->EvC Forum: Analyzing Intelligent Design {a structural construction of ID theory} Sidelined has edited both to now say "Removed incomplete post", so I don't think there remains anything to look at. Both messages are replies to the same message, posted 1 minute apart. Apparently Sidelined posted the first message, and then went back via the browser "back" button (not "edit" button) to the original message creation box, to edit the content. Seemingly, doing this somehow created a glitch. Something that happens when someone posts two replies to the same message, at the same time? Yes there was that event but the newest one occured today in post 48 of Analyzing Intelligent Design. The response I gave to Jerry Don Bauer only posted the first sentence.I tried twice to edit and same result. I stroked the whole response then substituted a new one after which it seemed to work. I will check up on my computer to see if I have some corrupt program {perhaps Internet Explorer is going south} and wait to see how things go.Thanks for the time.

What happened when you first went in to edit. Was what you entered before really gone?
If so, I can believe that such a thing is possible, but not with common characters. Was what you lost just plain old text, in other words, the letters A through Z, the digits 0 through 9, and normal punctuation like period, comma, colon and semicolon. If it was anything other than this, can you tell me exactly what it was?

What happened when you first went in to edit. Was what you entered before really gone The first edit I simply replaced the sentences that were lost.I hit submit and the same problem happened. So I wiped out the original and replaced the entire post,after which it worked fine. It was common characters all the way through.

Seeing it in the "Limbo" forum view. There's a thread started by "Lam" in there... clicked on the name link, and sure enough, it was this "Troy" guy.
Which also bring up the point, where's Lam? I miss Lam. Actually I just like saying Lam. Lam. There. I'll say it again. Lam. Shoot, I gotta Lam. Lam you lammer. AbE: Yes, I know Troy is Lam. Point is, the same small bug is there. This message has been edited by Ben, Friday, 2005/05/13 04:49 PM
