I just knocked this together. For those who use firefox as their browser, you can now do a google EvC site search without typing 'site:' everytime, if you are interested in doing so. I haven't worked out how to make an auto installer just yet, so you'll have to do it manually...which is evil I know.
Download the following files into your '\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins' folder:
The Plugin
The icon (you can change this of course, if you wish)
AbE: Oh, and you'll need to restart firefox.
I know some people have had difficulties with the site search at times, so I thought this might help.
Anyone who knows what the 'category name' should be in my auto installer script, I'd appreciate input, I can't figure it out. If it's 'Web' then I've done something else horribly wrong.
What should category name be in this url?

Bump
I haven't tried installing it.
Are others using this plug in? Is it working?

Google EvC with Firefox
I "installed" it (all you have to do is copy the files to the right directory, you don't have to run any install program) and tested it. Seems to be pretty simple.
Thanks mod!

Normally you have a G symbol for google (well that's normal for me, some have it set to another search engine). If you click the G you get a list of other search engines. It should show up there.
