With 100% of the votes reported Cruz got 57 delegates and Trump got 20. No other candidate got any. What happens to the rest of the Texas delegates? I'm not sure but I think the rest of the delegates go to the Democrat's convention for Hillary.

It's Obama who has the artificial jerky way of talking that reminds one of Hitler Not to pick on Faith, because she did not start this crap, but I personally find the Hitler comparisons on either side quite distasteful. There are of course some connections that either side could point to, but on balance all of the 'Third Reich comparisons' is empty rhetoric. Surely we can disagree about each others politics without invoking the holocaust. Edited by NoNukes, : change cause to because. And only one use of the word 'crap' per post rule was violated. change 'crap' to 'Third Reich comparisons' Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. NoNukes writes: Not to pick on Faith, because she did not start this crap,... I *was* first to mention Hitler, but it was to express serious concerns about the similarities between Hitler's rise to power between the World Wars and Trump's campaign for the 2016 Republican nomination. The story is the same then and today: a dispirited and discouraged electorate seeks a return to former glories and finds refuge in the harangues of a self-serving, bullying demagogue with no conscience or compassion. --Percy

People tend to misapply Godwin's law.
It is entirely acceptable to bring up Hitler and Nazi's if there is a valid reason to. Your comparison seems to be entirely valid. The problem is when the subject is brought up in inappropriate, inordinate, or hyperbolic manner.Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

I really think the comparison between Donald Trump and il Duce is far closer; Trumps behavior, positions, mannerisms, facial expressions, speaking style, gestures and carriage are far closer to what was recorded of Benito Mussolini then of Adolf Hitler. In addition, Trump even recycles some of Benito's material.
But il Donald has more hair.Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

This was a good one, and he does have the best words. He knows a lot of them, too.

Some fairly rational people, some loons, and then there's Jesse Ventura. While one might argue against his political legacy, I do think he's a reasonably rational thinker.

It is entirely acceptable to bring up Hitler and Nazi's if there is a valid reason to. Perhaps it is a matter of opinion, but I found the comparisons made by Percy and the ones he referenced to be superficial and weak. Trump is clearly a demagogue, but not all of those types deserve to be compared to Hitler. And of course the comparison brought out the expected response, full of even sillier rhetoric. Yeah, there are some times where the comparison is valid and in fact a useful warning; it is important that history happens never again. But pretty close to 100% of the time, comparisons to Hitler are over the top; this time was no exception. Your own mileage may vary. ABE: I did not invoke Godwin's law. It appears that Romney is on a mission to make sure Trump does not get elected. Seems he'd prefer Ted Cruz and then anyone else as long as they are not trump.

I don't think Jesse is a Trump supporter (I presume he means Trump winning the nomination, not the presidency I think you are correct. Jesse is does not seem to be endorsing Trump. Maybe he's just trying to get attention.
