Rahvin is a pleasure to participate with. He is always consistent with logic and his posts are usually fine examples of brevity and clarity. I like that he fully considers/acknowledges my posts, even when they might be lacking. Thanks, but that's the first time anyone's accused me of brevity!

Thanks Oni, right back at ya. I think you, Jazzns, Theodoric and I share a humanitarian POV that is sometimes lacking on the forum. Thanks as well.
Would be cool to meet you over a beer, I'll check out your schedule to see if you ever tour Buffalo, NY. Though, it would probably be more fun if we ditch the Chomsky stuff in favor of girls, travel, and laugh-laugh topics. I was just in the city (NYC), don't know how far that is from Buffalo, but I'm there enough to hang out one day. And yea, the Chomsky stuff will only come up if we don't score and just drink. Once that happens, my anarchial attitude finds it's way out. LOL - Oni

It would be great to sit and have a drink with Ray Martinez.
Maybe he would be rational when he is drunk?

We could throw theory out the window. I'm going to be in London at the end of September (26th) since my better half is going to be stood on some plinth in Trafalgar Square. Fancy having a drink?

That is a Saturday so I need to work out some of the finer details with my own better half - But basically yes. I see you have an EvC email address. I'll send you some of my contact details to that and we can take it from there. Cool. I am intrigued to meet both "The Mod" and to see your plinth dwelling other half do her public plinth thing. I am assuming a pub or two in and around Trafalgar square is ideal?

To me, this is such a complicated question, because the first thing that came to my mind were all the people I'd like to have a drink with just to have the opportunity to physically inflict damage on their physical forms for all the stupidity I've seen over the years. But then I tried to interpret the question in a way that a "normal" person would interpret it and I guess I came up with Percy being someone I'd like to sit down and have a drink with to discuss some things in addition to sucking up to him.
Who, on EVC, do you find interesting and would like to have a meal with and maybe a few drinks?

And if he declines Minnemouseus (sp?) {where are his posts when you need them?} However being realistic, and no less important to me, sure wouldn't mind another encounter with that fellow traveler coragyps (the kid has decided to major in chemical engineering, can she tag along?). Of course I wouldn't mind sharing a meal and a few drinks with virtually anyone here (even Peg ) Edited by anglagard, : Add all The idea of the sacred is quite simply one of the most conservative notions in any culture, because it seeks to turn other ideas - uncertainty, progress, change - into crimes. Well, I guess I would say:
Cavediver: because he get angry and lets loose and he has the power of cosmology that I always wanted but my brain was not equipped to handle. Catholic Scientist: because he put me right when I thought time was expanding. Taz: because I like his views on gaiety. Oni: because I'd like to try to out toke him (and I would, I did whitey for no man). And I guess you can't go wrong with a stand up- you cheat. Obvious Child: to asks him/her why she/he keeps bating Arch over in another other place. Percy: just to say thanks (you've kept me entertained when my patients DNA over the years). Phat: to shake hands brutha. Alumni Jar: to meet a gun toting Texan, ye har! Alumni Schraf: to talk ponies. And lets face it, 6 hand shakes and we will all be in the room so anyone I missed can see me there. Edited by Larni, : Can't spell catholic.

I'm not going to pretend that I've smoked the quality ganja you guys get in Europe, what with Amsterdam an all, and I don't live in Cali to get the high quality shit. But I'm up for the challenge, Larni. For the occation, I'll make a Boba Fett smoking mask. - Oni

Hi Mike,
I'm an oldy now - I don't know anyone anymore.... Yeah there are a bunch of new people, and I miss a lot of the oldies, from the big bootout.
I can't drink though, with people who naturally will endlessly argue, as it becomes futile, and obvious that they love arguing. I know what you mean, alcohol is not necessarily a lubricant for agreement. For the record, I'd be happy to sit and talk with anyone that posts here, it would put a face (rife with subjective information) to many that would be much more informative than just a(n objective) picture ... as long as you don't give Legend a gun ... Wouldn't it be a gas to find out that you already knew someone from your other life? Enjoy. ps - xongsmith doesn't count, brotha. by our ability to understand Rebel American Zen Deist ... to learn ... to think ... to live ... to laugh ... to share. • • • Join the effort to solve medical problems, AIDS/HIV, Cancer and more with Team EvC! Brian, you would be near the top of my list to sit and have a pitcher or two of beer with. Ringo and jar are interesting to debate and discuss things with, since they always challenge me...as you do....and get me to think. (for some reason, I wouldn't want to actually meet them, though.) Moose would be interesting. Onifre, MikeTheWiz, and Taz would be ok. Stile would be cool. Heck, I dunno why nobody likes Rrhain. He used to annoy me mightily, but for some reason I respect him.
There are more, if I thought about it.
