Complaining about people with hurt feelings and then demanding an apology for your hurt feelings is hypocritical. More like Alinsky's Rule #4 being turned against the radicals.Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge. Belief gets in the way of learning--Robert A. Heinlein In the name of diversity, college student demands to be kept in ignorance of the culture that made diversity a value--StultisTheFool It's not what we don't know that hurts, it's what we know that ain't so--Will Rogers If I am entitled to something, someone else is obliged to pay--Jerry Pournelle If a religion's teachings are true, then it should have nothing to fear from science...--dwise1 "Multiculturalism" demands that the US be tolerant of everything except its own past, culture, traditions, and identity.

No it's politically motivated speech intended to intimidate and suppress, as is all Political Correctness. Thought police. Shut people up Wow. In short, in the gospel according to Faith, it is okay to insult people, but if their reaction is to shame the speaker, well that constitutes fascism. That despite the fact that labeling them is at most just another insult. Your express this "truth" over and over, and it never stops sounding or being the height of stupidity. Yes, the speech is politically motivated. So was the speech that speech targetted. If being insulted makes you shut up, then perhaps you'd better develop a tougher skin before you start insulting others. Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Thoreau: Civil Disobedience (1846) History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend. Thomas Jefferson Seems to me if its clear that certain things that require ancient dates couldn't possibly be true, we are on our way to throwing out all those ancient dates on the basis of the actual evidence. -- Faith Some of us are worried about just how much damage he will do in his last couple of weeks as president, to make it easier for the NY Times and Washington post to try to destroy Trump's presidency. -- marc9000

First of all 90%of the people on the left have no idea who Alinsky is.
Second, your statement is not logical. Alinsky's rule #4 is
quote: This is misapplication of the rule. Wikipedia has a good example of what is meant by this rule.
quote: Vastly different than the idiots hypocrisy. The rule does not say to act in a hypocritical manner or mirror the things you most hate about people your perceive as enemies. ABEYou equate the Berkeley administration with radicals? Really? This guy is a white supremacist in words, deeds and actions. This is not an alternative fact. I guess you're insinuating something in the effort to justify violence? Most of your guesses are wrong. I would advise you to stop guessing so much, except that most of your carefully-considered positions are also wrong.

Complaining about people with hurt feelings and then demanding an apology for your hurt feelings is hypocritical. I don't care how you feel about this idiot, but you cannot dispute facts. His demand for an apology is hypocritical. No wonder I didn't get it. The usual breathtakingly illogical irrational nonthinking weirdness of the Left. No, he wants an apology for a LIE because he is not a white supremacist. It's not about hurt feelings, it's about slander. I can't believe I have to explain something so obvious. But after reading through all the other posts to me today I shouldn't really be surprised. I should go into deep mourning for the destroyed minds of the Left. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

More hypocrisy. Are you aware of the things he has said about and to other people?
You are probably correct. Though he acts like a racist and a white supremacist he probably is not one. He is a troll, laughing all the way to the bank. Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

No, he wants an apology for a LIE because he is not a white supremacist. He slanders folks wholesale and unapologetically, yet expects an apology for what you considers slander. That is hypocrisy. Is it really that hard to grasp what folks are saying? Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Offense is not slander.
Obviously. Get a clue.

Offense is not slander You draw the line quite arbitrarily, Faith. The only distinction is that Milo applies his offense to an entire group of people. People rightly respond back to Milo as an individual. How else could it be, Faith? And of course the truth is a perfectly good defense against slander. Edited by NoNukes, : No reason given. He slanders folks wholesale and unapologetically, yet expects an apology for what you considers slander. That is hypocrisy. Is it really that hard to grasp what folks are saying? I watched one of this guy's speeches and it turned my stomach, It is not slander to call him a white supremacist, but that doesn't even come close to what he really is: a hate-filled un-American fucking ASSHOLE. He can speak where ever he wants, but the only audiences he will ever have are other slimeballs like him. I don't support and I do condemn violent protests wherever they happen. I suspect that the protest at Berkeley was just as likely perpetrated by Yiannopolous for effect as from leftwing students. I feel completely justified in speaking out against Yiannopolous and everything he stands for, after having heard him once. I would hope that the lack of crowds at most venues would be enough of a rebuke, but it seems that there are a lot more hate-filled Americans who feel empowered by this scum than I realized. What if Eleanor Roosevelt had wings? -- Monty Python One important characteristic of a theory is that is has survived repeated attempts to falsify it. So it is ok to offend whole groups of people with out fear of repercussions, but calling out and offending the offensive individual is slander?

Good grief. Kellyanne Conway complains that the people who point out all of the really stupid things that she and il Donald and those who support il Donald keep saying are haters.
How silly. Kellyanne Conway is certainly not significant enough or important enough to generate hatred. Pity and disbelief and amazement at their ignorance is understandable but hatred? That's like saying someone hates the clown at the circus or the six year old kids putting on a pageant.
