I don't want to be a dark person anymore
For you, and also now for the romantically challenged Dwise1, help me understand what it means to be a "dark person."
What does that entail?

Good lord, Wise, have you not figured that out yet?
She wants him to openly and fimly reject any and all such advances, hints of advances, flirtations and so on. She wants him to declare to the flirter and to everyone within earshot (the more women the better) that he is a one-woman man and intends to remain so.
But that would still require the guy to be able to detect the flirting. Honesly, how many guys can do that as readily as a woman could?
For example, about a year after my first dance cruise, I got a call from one of the women who said she had broke up with her boyfriend that she was on the cruise with and was wanting to get back into dancing west coast swing but needed lessons, so could I please go to her place to teach her. While all the women in class think I'm a good dancer, I know that I come nowhere close to being able to teach, so I told her that and tried to think of a teacher I could refer her to. She kept insisting that she was too shy to be in a class and wanted me to teach her privately at her place. I knew that wouldn't work out and she'd not learn much so I kept trying and she kept trying and finally we ended the conversation with me having provided her with some possible teachers. I didn't learn what was really going on there until a few months later when I mentioned it to a female friend who immediately explained it to me. She also finally clued me in on what various women in dance class were really doing when they'd ask me which one there is my girlfriend. Well, when somebody asks me a question I assume it's a honest question and I try to give them an honest answer. How am I supposed to know there's subterfuge afoot?

OK, Female 101
It does not matter if you can or cannot see it. Her expectation is that you damn well better see it and react accordingly.
Well, when somebody asks me a question I assume it's a honest question and I try to give them an honest answer. How am I supposed to know there's subterfuge afoot?
OK, Female 102
When it comes to affairs of the heart there is always an ulterior motive. First, no woman ever speaks to a man or asks him a question or asks him for a favor or asks him for an opinion without a reason. Second, that reason is never the one that appears on the surface. Now refer back to Female 101.

Costanza...?

This reminds me of a classic Costanza moment on Seinfeld:

Yeah, that would be nice too. But first baby steps with a low dose of shrooms. I also think he would benefit from pure MDMA to help him enjoy parties better.

No.
Do not recommend a guy with depression and anxiety that he do psychedelic drugs like Psilocybe containing shroms or shitty dissociatives like Salvia Divinorum.
I would recommend however, that he tries MDMA. Not often, make it a once or twice a year experience and dont just waste it at parties. When you finally DO get a girlfriend(And dont order some eastern european girl via the net, youll regret that), FEY, get to know her properly by sharing a dose of MDMA.
AFAIK you go to college and unless its some private christian college, MDMA should be readily available around your campus.
Read more about MDMA her: Erowid MDMA (Ecstasy) Vault
And MDMA experinces here: MDMA (also Ecstasy; Molly; Adam; E; X) : Erowid Exp: Main Index

A low dose of shrooms should be fine, but I'm not an expert on the effects of it with regards to depression. But I do absolutely agree that MDMA would help him out dramatically.

Do some shrooms and get lost in a Pink Floyd album
Not The Final Cut. That will send him deeper into that black hole.
Great album, but not for those with any depression issues. I suggest he start with Dark Side of the Moon or Meddle. The earlier albums will probably be too much for a newbie, though they are my preference if in an altered consciousness.

Steve Harvey is a complete and utter loon. Nothing he has to say about anything at all should be taken seriously.

I only know Steve Harvey as the host of family feud, and he is hilarious IMO. There are many funny vids of his reaction to funny answers.
Back to FEY, as to not get complete OT.
Dude, dont online order women. Ive suffered through severe depression and anxiety, and i still fight an ongoing battle with anxiety. When my problems were the worst, i couldnt talk to new people, and not at all to girls even those i had known for years. You just have to fight the fight and get back on the horse.
The following might be an unpopular advice, but it works.
Go for the easy fat chicks in the beginning. Dont hurt no ones feelings, agree with them that this is going to be a one night thing beforehand. Then fuck them, and dont think about them afterwards.
That magically makes talking to women and handling intimate situations with women a lot easier. Theres just some shit that you have to get over. Easy fat chicks is the solution.
