Re: Dinosaurs
and Yes a few dinosaur like leviathon animals or dinosaurs or Lochness monsters did survive in the waters of the flood.
Now wait a minute... the Bible clearly states that all living things that moved on the face of the earth were killed by the flood. But you say that some dinosaurs manged to escape the flood waters? So you are saying the Bible was incorrect that all living creatures died?
I understand that some try to claim that only those animals with the "breath of life" perished and organisms like fish and plants survived, but dinosaurs????

Were you there? Did you see dinosaurs breathe.
Or are you relying on evidence; things like physical structure and genetics?

Re: Dinosaurs

That's true, I have been operating under that stupid, evil assumption.
So here's my breakthrough in understanding
a) all creatures with the breath of life perished in the flood
b) some dinosaurs escaped the flood waters and survived into the modern age
new scientific fact: dinosaurs were water breathers... like fish
It's all so obvious and logical

Water breathers? What?

Oh Faith, Faith...god put the dinosaurs on the ark to save them, but miscalculated the climate change effect of his flood which killed them?

There's no "inventory". It says, "every living thing of all flesh." No exceptions.
Davidjay writes:
But yea, the dinosaurs died in the Flood...
Nope, that isn't what the Bible says. The whole purpose of the ark was to preserve every kind of animal (and humans).
Davidjay writes:

Nope, that isn't what the Bible says. Nothing outside the ark survived the flood (except plants).
It's downright comical how Bible "literalists" mangle the Bible.

According to what is written in the Bible, yes, the god character does make mistakes quite often.

Re: Dinosaurs

Just that, Faith, silliness.
Some dinosaurs survived on the ark, but didn't do well in the new climate after the Flood, although as someone pointed out some of them survived long enough to give rise to all the dragon stories. None of them "survived into the modern age."
Then your argument is with DavidJay. Here is what he said
DavidJay writes:
and Yes a few dinosaur like leviathon animals or dinosaurs or Lochness monsters did survive in the waters of the flood.
Not "on the ark", but "in the waters of the flood."
So I take it you agree that that statement is silly and deserving of mockery. Good.

They rapidly adapted to the new climate and today we know them as birds.

Phew, thanks for that, for a moment there, I thought Faith had got it all wrong.

The TRUTH is Noah sent his not too bright son to get dinosaurs and on the road he met a magic bunny who sold him magic Dino Eggs. Noah's not too bright son ran all the way back and just got through the door before it was sealed shut. But the magic Dino eggs were actually just rocks.
Once the door was sealed shut all Noah's neighbors came out and started beating on the Ark and squirting water on it and rocking it back and forth, laughing all the while. After funnin' the family for over a month they all left and got on with their lives.
Time passed and after a year life inside the Ark was getting pretty foul so Noah opened a window to get some fresh air. Some of the birds flew out and since it had been a year since they had had anything worth eating brought back some to share with the other birds.
Noah looked out and seeing dry land and all the grape vines that had grown over the Ark in the year they hid inside called it a vineyard.
The rocks never hatched which is why we never see any Dinos.
And all the people laughed and laughed.
