This is a must read book for anyone who wants to understand exactly HOW George W Bush became President of the United States. The author, Greg Palast, has documented that over 94,000 Florida voters, mostly poor and black, were prevented from voting thanks to Jeb Bush and his Secretary of State, Kathleen Harris. Palast also talks about the "grand scheme" of this administration and where they got some of their wacky ideas like their energy manipulation shemes.

Add to that, my vote is not for sale for a few shekles. I would like to believe that my country is not for sale, but the number of people enamored with a pitiful tax return for the average joe worker ...

These are the same workers who 4 years ago said nothing when Greenspan's repeated raising of the interest rates induced the market crash which took 30% out of the average person's 401K plan. It's almost as if we have become blind in our slavery. One of my friends whose 401k fell from $54,000 to $35,000 said he felt he didn't do too bad!
But if you want to see how this economic cycle fits in with the globalists, led by milton Friedman and the Chicago boys, read Palast book. He lays out some pretty solid arguments for why and how we are being ripped off by the neocons.
