Re: Arguments
I always used to ask myself, who created God? Where did he come from?
But for some strange reason we almost feel like we don't have the right to even ask the question.
When you start to ponder on it, your head feels like its going to explode. I just shake my head and say it had to have come from somewhere. What was it? It was just always there, the Universe, continually expanding and collapsing? What purpose does it serve?
What's outside the big bubble right before it reverses direction and collapses, if it even collapses.
Great, I got a headache now.
The addition of new knowledge causes the brain to expand, thus the headache.
We have the right to question anything, and the duty to acknowledge answers.

Re: Arguments
You can not show that this 'God' fellow exists.
All you have is a bunch of people who say they speak for him.
Many of those seem to be interested in getting 'tithes'.

Re: Arguments
Yes you are absolutly correct. To me these people are the scum of the earth. They ruin it for everyone.
You don't have to give your money to a church to tithe. You can just give it to the needy, in the name of God, and then recieve his blessings. You are just ackwoledging that money is from him, and you give back the first ten percent to prove this ackowledgment.
I have started it this year, and so far, its been a great year money wise, and blessing wise. I am very careful where it does go.
If you do give money to someone who is stealing it for himself, you will still recieve the blessings, because you have really given it to God, he sees that. True faith in God means that you will recieve those blessings, and you will not be angry at the person who stole them. It doesn't matter how rich that guy is, you have God's blessing, he probably doesn't.
*edit* This is a test of the Lord, it says so in the bible.

I'm very glad that you, too, think that those tv dudes are full of it. It's amazing that there are so many people willing to follow them and give them $$$.
