Has any one read the book the universe in a nutshell? I think every one here should read it! I totally loved this book! I really loved the part at the end about the membrane worlds (brane worlds). For people who have not read the book, this is the new idea of how the universe as we know it was created. Hence, the time before the big bang. It is a very interesting concept. I for one believe in creation and from what I can see the big bang does not disprove it at all. I think it actually makes it stronger, since it proves that the universe as we know it was not spontaneously created. According to the brane world model all the laws of physics were around before the big bang that created our universe or brane world.
