I tried adding a signature in my profile. I mean the bit of text that should appear at the bottom of each post, like jar's "aslan is not a tame lion".
After adding the signature to my profile, it doesn't seem to be appended to my posts.
Can anybody help?
Cheers!

Click on the reply button to this message and examine the pair of checkboxes just beneath the message box. One of them says "Show Signature". Check this box and your signature will appear at the bottom of your message. Click the preview button to verify its appearance.

The current signature is added to the messages posted after that signature was created. Unlike the avatars, the older versions of signatures in older messages are permanent - They are not updated to the newer version. Personally, I like that way.
Also, to post your signature, you must select "Show Signature" from the options below the text enter box, everytime you post a new message. The default is that the signature is NOT posted. If you forget to check the box (and the signature will show in preview if you did remember), you can go back and edit the message to check the box.
Please keep signatures short. Per that desired standard, the signatures of many of the admins (including myself) are improper. But they are the exception to the rule - They are there to perform an administrative function.
My non-admin mode signiture is actually an example of excessiveness. But I rarely post the signature (maybe about 1 in 10 of all the few messages minnemooseus posts).

You could try sending Percy a large sum of money.

No, mine is too large. Yours, I'm waiting for Brad to translate.

well, since we don't seem to have any hebrew-speakers here anymore (where'd amlodhi go?) i guess i'll let you in on the joke. it's the hebrew word/name for a traveller, wanderer, or exile: 'arach.
kind of fitting with my religious ideology too...

it would have messed it up really badly. for some reason, when i put in the html code for hebrew letters, the box chooses to convert them on the refresh. and then when you hit ok again, it renders the hebrew letters -- the ones it put there itself -- as gibberish. kind of a funny system.
