proverbs 14:11 is one verse to read.
vers 12 following 11 is another.
verse 14 is another
verse 27 is another

Here is the chapter that discribes the fall of sodom and gomorrah...
(i just read it)..pay particular attention to the verse 4 and read on. It reads like this: chapter 19 of Genesis verse 4 on:
4. this is the NIV bible.
verse 4: Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of sodom both young and old surrounded the house. 5: They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."
NOW you must read the beginning of chapter 19...so you can get the whole happening.. dont pervert just that verse,, the two men that came to Lots house were angels who came to warn and remove the only rightous ones from the doomed cities.

SIN IS SIN no matter how you think it... no one can justify any sin at all. No one can declare one sin any less opposing to God, except the sin of not becoming saved. The whole bible is about getting you to come to Jesus..that is what He did for ALL mankind. Dont think i will falter in my faith just because of a post about homosexuals...all sin needs to be confronted.. and if homosexuals can declare GAY DAY and parade on a special GAY DAY of the year, then i can converse the topic freely , as i have NO problem facing any Gay person and talking about homosexualality.... i do not declare to be God.. i just spread the word of God , that He has given US a way out of our sins, that He will forgive all sins, and we dont have to suffer the death due to our sins... whatever a man or woman decides to become is thier decision...not mine..im just posting my thoughts about the subject at hand , and i will not back off to anyone, because the word of God is my strength.. im not here to cut your head off, or slap your face.. or to be condemmed by anyone... im just answering someones reply to my post that i replyed to another post about the post in topic. In other words, there is no verse saying that homosexuality was the sin that got Sodom destroyed. It was sin in general.You quote an example of a desire to gang rape a bunch of angels. Can't really equate that with a committed homosexual relationship can you? If the verse had read that the men of Sodom raped women, would you assume that it was heterosexual sex that got Sodom destroyed?Thank you and good night.

so your point is that you cant read between the lines.. you know men on men..equils a homosexual act..it was in their hearts to have sex with other men..in this word, it was the two angels that are men that they wanted to have sex with... common...if it is in your heart to do something, then you have already sinned as if you have committed the act.. in this case.. it is evident..and bluntly frightening.
Please dont tell me you cant see what was about to happen.. what if the crowd of men of sodom did get into the house, and what do you think they would have done... throw a welcome party.. i think not.
