Re: testing signature font
was it buggy before? firefox on the computer i used at work couldn't figure out that the vowels went below...
or did you just not like the new standard hebrew font? this is more a biblical script, the other is modern hebrew print (used on billboards in israel). here's the comparison:

Re: testing signature font
Not buggy, just thought the previous font was ugly.

Re: testing signature font
On my computer last night, the fonts were more geometric looking, and the vowel symbols (?) appeared directly below particular letters.
This morning, on my computer at work (Firefox running on Linux) both styles still look identical, but now the first letter (the one on the right) has little squiggles on the parts on either side of the main part of the letter, and the vowel symbols (?) appear between letters (although still below them).
There is no Hebrew at all in the post to which I am responding.

even the new one? this is a screencap from the post above -- firefox 1.0.7, win xp pro sp1. looks the same on ie 6.whatever too.

squiggless? like how?
and the vowel symbols (?) appear between letters (although still below them).
i think that's because you don't have the appropriate hebrew plugins. should i just remove the vowels entirely?
There is no Hebrew at all in the post to which I am responding.
there should have been the old one in the post, and new one as the sig. any chance you can screencap for me?

Re: testing signature font
The two fonts in the screencap do look different. The bottom example is more like classical Hebrew, while the top looks more geometric, like it's trying to look modern or something.
The phrase in your signature (as I am now looking with my Mac) is closer to the top font, although not identical.
Maybe later tonight I'll try to figure out how to do a screen capture and show you.

Re: testing signature font
Sorry to bring this up again, especially since I think that the problem is that my mac and my linux machine do not have the correct fonts. I suspect that to display the fonts correctly I need to download some sort of package.
Anyway, here is what the screencap in your post looks like:
It looks identical to your screen cap, as it should.
Now here is what your signature looks like on my mac at home:
and here is what it looks like on my linux machine at work:
I don't know if this helps, or even if anyone cares at this point. Like I said, I suspect that both the computers I use don't have the correct packages installed. I also have trouble with Greek characters on the Wikipedia site.

Re: testing signature font
no, only the linux one is buggy. that's another common hebrew font, although not as common as the ones in my screencap.
just goes to show -- macs are weird all around. they can't even pick standard fonts
This is a test

Took this selfie on Sunday night down at the Arch grounds. Never wanted to put my face on here, to maintain anonymity (although I do remember posting my face to a "post your face" thread), but I think this one's distorted enough so that nobody can recognize me.

You'd be surprised. If you are really concerned, I would change it. Especially given the types of people that have invaded and taken down this site before. I'm sure I could even get a few hundred pizzas sent to your house, if you gnomesayin.
