Your willingness to make this concession in some cases, is imo, commendable. As for my "chariot wheels" thread, I was hoping there would be some response to my last subject post of the widow of Ron Wyatt's statement. Other than that, I don't have much more to add to the thread until I can get more information on the discovery and of the subject of the Exodus. I'll be ok with whatever call you make on this and try to work within whatever parameters that are settled on here. I do appreciate the quality of the media you hard working folks have provided, that we can all learn from one another, in hopes that in the end, truth may emerge.

Your thread's been reopened, you might have already noticed my reply in Message 31 of the Is Moderation Changing? thread.

Thanks very much, Administrator. I'll try to be careful about subject adherance.

If Buzsaw departs then I'll feel sad because he leaves without ever understanding almost everything that was explained to him. On the other hand, as I've said many times, it is very rare that anyone is ever convinced by discussions at discussion boards, so the likelihood that we'd ever make progress with Buzsaw is tiny, no matter how long we argued.
I am not one to be easily provoked to the point of running off sore. My spring and summer have been very busy with my business and trying to do some major reorganization around my home as well as my business to get things more functional. So my participation here is sporadic. I may get in a post or two and need to run off. My apologies for this, but it's the best I can do and hopefully you folks will allow me to operate this way. This is why I tend to focus on one or two threads.
As I stated before a lot of the problems in debate between those whose mindset is totally secularistic and those who believe in the supernatural is that the supernatural involves just that -- over riding the laws of science so as to effect an unscientific condition, or explanation of what is observed. An example of this is the flood and what ever caused men to live for hundreds of years before the flood. A canopy is implied with the reading of Genesis. We can't prove it happened, but we naturally do our best to explain how we interpret what is observed on that premise. We do have other reasons to rely on scripture, such as fulfilled prophecy and the good things it brings to our lives so it's going to be hard for us to be convinced it's a bogus book. Our arguments are going to necessarily irritate secularists on that count unless they can understand that debating us must needs involve the supernatural on occasions.

I've been outa town all day and just got home a tad ago. I've finished reading most of the Islam thread and all I see for refutation of Jabela's most interesting and informative posts is baseless criticism. I request it be reopened so as for some of us who where unable to post to respond. He's done his homework and his critics haven't, imo. He's gone to a lota work to contribute to this thread and it's a shame to shut it down so soon.

Lost Thread
Hi Admin. I totally lost my earthquake thread after submitting it until today when I happened to find it was discussed in another suggestions thread, unbeknown to me. I would like to submit it again or recover the old one under faith and belief so as to address the input and go with the thread. What do you suggest? Thanks

Re: Lost Thread
Buz is this the thread you are looking for? We have had some problems and I created an issue earlier by trying to respond to your first question concerning this thread....let's hope I don't do any damage this time
Ok, I see what I've done. A couple of days ago I moved the "All Topics" page to my desktop to upgrade my desktop to the new setup. Since, something must have changed and every time I opened "All Topics," I was bringing up an old page. I would take a look and see nothing happening with my thread and would close it, figuring people were busy with changeover, etc.
Anyhow, thanks much. I see I have my work cut out. Be patient, folks, and I'll get in some responses as I find time. Like Percy says, "take your time and post efficiently." (Not exact quote, but his message.)

Thread Reopen Request
Would it be possible to have the Jar/Faith debate on Jar's ID/creator viewpoint reopened to the peanut gallery? I'd like to engage with Jar some on this topic.

If jar replies here that he'd like to do that, I'll reopen the thread. I'll be gone for a few hours around midday.
Thanks, Percy. I'm about to leave for the rest of the day and plan to be back tonight.
