Re: bottom line for me...
quote:
So, yeah. That's what's causing Americans to suffer ill effects from those things - a lack of adequate health care.
This doesn't make any sense. If they ate less and moved more they wouldn't suffer from the effects in the first place. The coverage of health care would be a moot point if they ate right and excercised. That is like saying lack of health care causes Americans to die from the effects of Aids, as they do not die from aids itself.

Re: bottom line for me...
There are cultures that eat worse than Americans and cultures that excercise less; yet they don't have nearly the problems that we do
Such as?
Certainly, lifestyle is a fair bit of the problem. Doctors help their patients develop healthy lifestyles. But the vast majority of this "Americans are fat and lazy" meme is an attempt by the right to shift the burden of worsening American health from the people actually responsible to the victims themselves.
Yes. I believe in personal responsibility.
That is like saying lack of health care causes Americans to die from the effects of Aids, as they do not die from aids itself.
Nobody does die from AIDS. You die from an opportunistic infection caused by immunodeficiency
That's what I said.

Chocolate also contains some mood-lifting chemicals.
I always feel better when I eat chocolate.
On another note, eating good food after being out and about the greater Bagdad area did wonders for my mood/spirit (as in, lift your spirits).

What's your favorite quote from the charter?

Chiro has the idea! That is a good one too Chiroptera.
Holmes, yes, there is more to the sentence; I simply found that part hilarious. "Yes, women are equal because they produce men."
O.O
Awesome.

Re: having an identity crisis of your own?
Yeah, but you don't seem to get the idea that the same thing can be done with things you like, for example the Bible.
You would have a point if I were ripping the Koran. But I'm not. So you don't. What I am ripping is thier political beliefs as stated in their political charter.
Want to pick on mine?
US Constitution
There it is. Rip away.
why did you have to pick on Hamas?
Because they are a terrorist organization.
By the way, have you seen any zionist literature discussing the importance of women producing children for the cause?
No I havne't. Put it in your sig.

Re: having an identity crisis of your own?
What difference does that make? My point is that you seem to be laughing at something which exists within literature of your own professed belief system.
You lost me here. How is the Hamas charter literature of my own professed belief system?
Uh, Hamas isn't a gov't its an organization.
Hamas is a political party, ie part of the gov't. Just read some news from the past week or, apparently they won an election.
