Profs. Bales, Lecointe, Harter (!?) and T(i)un under the "Equal Time in
Education" provisions of local Affirmative Action statutes.)
The University does, of course, grant degrees up to the doctoral level,
by mail-order. If you send $100 to the Registrar (email only; no cash,
cheques or credit cards accepted), you will receive a handsome diploma
suitable for framing and hanging on the wall (perhaps in the smallest
room of your house), just as soon as we can figure out what colour(s)
it should be.

We like to get in arguments,
And rant as much as possible.

One should probably look at the faculty list, amongst other things, also.
http://www.ediacara.org/fac97.html
Posting this message also gives me a place to shamelessly plug my upcoming radio show .
"At Risk Radio" on WOJB-FM, Friday, Dec. 27th, 9:00 pm to midnight (U.S. central time zone, 10:00 pm to 1:00 am eastern and evcform.net time zone).
I might also have the 6:30 to 9:00 pm timeslot, but that is not yet confirmed.
Don't have a planned out playlist, but thinking of keeping things lighter than my often general dark abstract tendencies. Maybe lots of Mojo Nixon, Dread Zeppelin, Moog Cookbook, NRBQ, etc.
Webcast link available at WOJB - Home
As always, past playlists available at http://www.lakenet.com/~mnmoose/cosmic.htm
Not necessarily of sane mind,
Moose

Maybe a clash song or two as a tribute to strummer?
"Bankrobber" maybe? Or "rock the Casbah" though "somebody got murdered" with its lyrics of "somebodys dead forever" may be more apropriate.....
Oh and if we do do our version of the bruces song heres my concept for a line or two....
"...And Brad Mcfall makes no sense at all,
despite the best efforts of the boss man*..."

Indeed, a minutes silence isn't asking too much of punks greatest lyricist.
Joe Strummer is dead, long live Joe Strummer!

After I posted my previous message, Joe Strummers passing also passed through my thick skull. Even then, it somehow never ocured to me to play some Clash on friday. Ya'all have fixed that!!!
I was listening to various stuff tonight, and, damn, I thought (as I try to type this under the influence of 6 quality beers and a nice honkin' hot bath), I think I'm going to play "London Calling" in its entirety (all of it). So, tune on in.
Your flaming liberal (and Adminnemooseus alter-ego), minnemooseus.
Give me a call. The station's at 715-634-2100.
And now to scare you, I leave you with a favorite quotation, from robot Bender:

Added by edit: ps - the earlier time slot is covered by someone else, so I'll be starting at 8:00 pm, evscforum.net time.

Blast it! You beat me to it. I was going to post that.
But you know, some things don't lend themselved to parody so well...I mean, is this article any funnier than the ICR Museum? Not really.

Yeah, I worry that ICR will sue The Onion for plagiarism. And win the suit.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One day a group of scientists got together and decided
that man had come a long way and no
longer needed God. So they picked one scientist
to go and tell Him that they were done with Him.
The scientist walked up to God and said, "God,
we've decided that we no longer need You. We're
to the point that we can clone people and do many
miraculous things, so why don't You just go on
and get lost."
God listened very patiently and kindly to the man
and after the scientist was through talking, God said,
"Very well, how about this, let's say we have a
man-making contest?"
To which the scientist replied, "OK, great!"
But God added, "Now, we're going to do this just like
I did back in the old days with Adam."
The scientist said, "Sure, no problem," and bent down
and grabbed a handful of dirt.
"No, no, no!" God said as He looked at the
scientist. "You go get your own
dirt."
