If you're saying that you found an "" link on a "" webpage, then that shouldn't be possible. If you're actually seeing this, can you provide enough information for me to reproduce it myself?Edited by Admin, : Change author to Admin.

Suzy seemingly posted message 121 to the "The Foundations of the Debate" topic. I saw her name listed on the All Topics index page as having posted #121 there, but when I went to look at the message, I got a "no such message exists" type message.As I type this, message 121 is still credited to Suzy at her message index page.Archer Opterix now has message 121 at the topic in question.Suzy, did you post a message there, that has failed to appear or has disappeared?Adminnemooseus

I tried posting to the thread The Unacknowledged Accuracy of Genesis. It appeared that it got hung up, so I stopped it. I checked the All Topics page to see whether my message had posted, and it hadn't, so I tried to post it again. Still got hung up.Funny thing is, after closing my browser and starting it again, the All Topics Page still lists that thread as just containing the OP and jar's promotion announcement, but my personal topic page shows that I did post my message twice, and they are there when I visit the thread.I have tried to edit one of the duplicated messages to remove the duplicated content, but the bowser hangs up and won't push the edits through. I tried editing both using Firefox and Konqueror.Edited to add:PS, new messages in other threads are showing in the All Topics display. And, if you read this, it means that I successfully edited this message.Edited by Chiroptera, : No reason given.

Yes, there is a problem updating the databases. No real quick solution is on the horizon.

It just seems curious that all my problems are with just that one thread. Everything else is working normally.

Unfortunately, just the problems you see. But we are working on it.

for me it's not problems with posting and editing--my read/unread problem's come back. I can see your posts on that thread in the link given for the latest message.jar's got the cause right, it appears. I wonder how many other people are having problems with one or a few specific items right now?

We are just going to have to put up with this for awhile. The solution hopefully will come with the next version of the board software, but right now we simply are reaching the limits of what can be done with this version. For now please be patient.

I did a rebuild of the "The Bible:..." forum, at "Board Central". The problem topic, at least for now, is displaying properly in the topic index.Also did rebuilds for all the other forums while I was at it.Adminnemooseusps to other admins: The "General discussion of moderation procedures" topic is now at part 8. Update your signature links if needed.

That got message 9 to appear. However the thread is now up to message 16, and the front page is still showing 9 as the last message.
