Please promote the bloody platypus thread. I know exactly what Dragoness' husband was referring to when he pointed out the platypus.
When I was a young man back in my fundamentalist days, I attended a sermon by a local preacher on how unscientific evolution was. One of the things he said was that the platypus completely disproved the theory of evolution because of the following reasons: (1) The animal has a head of a bird, (2) it has a body of a mammal, and (3) it has a skeleton of a reptile. At the time everyone including myself applauded the bullshit. I would like to give Dragoness an easy to understand explanation of why the platypus poses no problem for the theory of evolution so she could talk to her husband. I can't do that when you moderators took it upon yourselves to keep repeating the bleeding obvious, that it poses no problem to the theory of evolution. After I give her the explanation, you guys can go ahead and close it if you want. But for now, your by the book, word for word, CEO type sticking by the procedure ain't gonna help anyone and is driving me nuts. Disclaimer: Occasionally, owing to the deficiency of the English language, I have used he/him/his meaning he or she/him or her/his or her in order to avoid awkwardness of style. He, him, and his are not intended as exclusively masculine pronouns. They may refer to either sex or to both sexes!

I see that new member Lampropeitis is logged in this evening, probably to check on his/her new topic.
I'm not recommending promotion -- just reminding the admins that it is still there.

The ideas in offline3's PNT may be worthy of discussion and debate, but I will note that the YouTube link is really an advertisement for a book or a pamphlet.

Buz wants to discuss "New Discovery: Giant Empty Space In Orion ". This is just like all his prophecy threads or his End Times threads or his Exodus threads.
I suggest that you go ahead and promote it and other folk can explain that the void is not in Orion, that the Constellation Orion is just a figment of human imagination and the stars are not even in the same areas of space or close to one another, and that the Orion Nebula is yet another separate subject. Buz will not believe any of the facts and pretty soon we will be at 300 posts, can close it. Aslan is not a Tame Lion

As adminpaul and admincoragyps almost pulled their hair out trying to explain to Buz, Buz wanted his topic to be promoted to the bible study section but there isn't anything remotely related to the bible in the OP or in the topic.

Please go ahead and promote Modern Charlatans since it is a great chance to show how Evolution and the TOE are absolutely antithetical to any concept of racism.

Personally, I disagree. It would be one thing if Vash were just ignorant/stupid/nutty. But I think he's consciously trolling; just about everything he's posting is clearly flame bait.
Usually I'm against banning, but I see no point in tolerating people whose sole purpose is to be as disruptive as possible.

The problem is that as it stands he is simply continuing to post foolish assertions. I think it is important to present the best argument available to refute his foolishness.

I vote no, too.
For the same reasons Chi mentioned. Vash/HEWG doesn't offer evidence of any kind, in the science threads or the faith threads. He's a troll. Please don't promote that thread.

This is a semi-serious request. I'd like the admins to promote this thread just because I want to see the thread author converse with Brad McFall. I don't know about you, but I'd pay big money to see the two talking with one another.
