As a point of clarification, the suspension was "grudging" because I didn't feel either post particularly warranted a suspension - or if one did, then both should have been simultaneous. It was unfortunate that I found myself in a position of trying to second guess another admin. It was in the interests of fairness that I suspended mark24. I had no other issue at that point.As to the 3-hour timelag. Many regrets, brenna, but not all of us spend our entire lives 24/7 on this board. I know that might be something of a shock to you, but there it is. I acted within minutes of finding out that you had been suspended.So much for trying to be a nice guy...

Hi brenna, The only two typical occasions where posts are deleted by mods are 1) in the case of blatant spammers, and 2) when a third party posts in a Great Debate that hasn't been opened to the general audience. AFAIKT, those are the only times posts have been deleted since I've been playing on this board (which puts it back a bit). There may have been exceptionally rare individual instances, but it certainly doesn't equate to something that needs ammending, IMO. Hiding is a good middle ground - and is something that can be removed if necessary or justified.
