This is a challenge to the creationists, especially Beretta. Evolutionists have been asking for this in the thread about whether creationism should be taught in schools; here I would like to present an opportunity for the creationists to show us their stuff.
Beretta, msg 173 of the above thread:
quote:
'Stick to the topic' ---no, 'give us evidence', wait, all in good time,
I'll get there.
Here is the thread. Show us the evidence.
quote:
quote:
I have seen no evidence contradicting evolution, so I say your claim is a falsehood.

You clearly haven't been looking very hard or else you refuse to see what is very plain to a lot of people.
It's not plain to us. Make it plain here.
quote:
When children are indoctrinated into the concept of macroevolution and millions of years as fact -they are being misled. The evidence does not show that.
Demonstrate why it does not.
Apparently you've got the evidence, the model, the Holy Grail that will blast evolution out of the water and show us all what we've been missing all these years; that creation science is the real answer. Here is your chance to convince us. Give us something, anything, even one post showing us why you're right. Give us the evidence we need to finally come around to your point of view, because preaching at us just isn't working.
Don't you understand that we want to believe? We want to be lead to the promised land and all that, but we have to know that it's the real deal and not another scam. And that means using our powerful brains to separate all the phony crap from the gems of truth, because we're not risking eternal damnation on just your word alone.
So show us the damn evidence, show us why you're right, show us ANYTHING that has at least a snowball's chance in hell of convincing us.

I'm not sure we need another thread. It seems like the should creationism be taught in schools? thread should be okay for presenting this evidence (not ideal, but okay).
Also, the OP should be expressed more neutrally by reducing the amount of overt skepticism and frustration showing.

Duly noted. I'll leave it alone for now and observe the other thread.
I might not be the best person to start this kind of thread, I don't think I can reduce the level of overt skepticism and frustration as requested. The whole debate is wearing down my patience, and it obviously shows.
