Here.
It's the first aquatic gilled mushroom ever discovered.
Psathyrella aquatica, found in the Rogue River, Oregon.
(I wonder if it's the same Created Kind as the rest of the Psathyrella genus.)

That's pretty cool. I'm definitely interested in seeing if they manage to propagate submerged.
According to the various bits and pieces I've read, there are several populations of them in the Rogue River, and they are all permanently submerged, and this is a separate species, so yes, they can.

I had absolutely no idea that you had a yearning for the discovery of underwater mushrooms.
Nor did I, until I read about them. Then I realised that they fulfilled some deap-seated need.
I also learned this week what cilliates do instead of sex.
Nature is way cool.
