Re: Warning to Hill Billy
Looking through a fair sampling of your postings, I am having a hard time convincing myself that your collective output is anything more than totally worthless.
This may be cause I'm an uneducated boob with little or no writing skills.
Might we try posting messages that shows some sincerity towards having a real discussion?
Seriously, I am trying, and will try harder.
Throw in my contrary nature and I,m sure given enough time I can prove conclusively that I'm a complete idiot.
This is not intended as a smart assed remark but an admission that I'm not doin so well gettin my points across.
Feel free to respond to me in this topic. But it better be good.
I'm not sure I will ever measure up, but I will keep trying as long as I'm allowed.

Dr. Fantasy
You say:
No, the better educated feel better educated.
That's all.
Really? So educated folks don't feel sad, or lonely , or angry? Are you trying to tell me that educated people only feel one emotion, better educated?
Hummm, now who is trying to deceive who here?

Sorry
Trixie, I must apologize. My muddled thinking and careless and unclear writing has led to a complete misunderstanding.
I can't stop you spouting garbage
I don't think I'm a more valuable person
You are absolutely correct, there is no contradiction there.
The statements I intended to refer to were :
To be honest, this is just so much garbage.
Which, in MY VIEW, is a value statement and an insult and in direct contradiction to this statement:
I don't think I'm a more valuable person
You suggest that I should know the difference between my words and Me. I ask you "What else of Me is there here?" My words are the only thing you have. You can't see me smile or frown, you can't see my tongue planted in my cheek. So, in regards to this forum, my words are Me. If you can't see that then communication with you may be not be possible.
As for my closing remarks,
You should be ashamed of yourself. Shouldn't you? For participating.
Shouldn't you?
And this:
You can stomp your feet and say no if you want. You can rationalize, justify, cry, deny. Don't matter much to me.
I was merely attempting to illustrate some of the options available to you. Surely, You had many other choices available.
As to this
I think, based on the evidence, I see you for what you are.
A bully.
I arrived at a TENTATIVE conclusion. Please, show me I'm wrong. Show me some evidence that will invalidate my findings.

Anti-science crowd?
Nator,when you say
To understand better how the anti-science crowd thinks and what they believe, so I can better combat their influence in our society
I wonder does this anti-science crowd actually exist? I am completely unfamiliar with this term but it seems to me if they are real they would be obvious. They would be naked cause science taught us that cloths keep us warm. They couldn't possibly be dangerous cause weapons come from science. Would they even own a computer? What kind of influence could a naked, poo slinging crowd exert in our society?

You were not disagreeing or calling bullshit, you were prevaracating.
Hill Billy writes:
Are you trying to tell me that educated people only feel one emotion, better educated?
If you actually wonder if this is what Dr A is trying to tell you this based on the following exchange:
Hill Billy writes:
Beginning with the premise that evolutionists feel superior I was nudged into a re evaluation early in this thread. The new premise being, that the educated feel superior.
Dr A writes:
No, the better educated feel better educated.
That's all.
Then you are either foolish or deliberately misinterpreting his obvious meaning.
By the way I asked my 10 year old nephew if he could understand the exchange and he could (after I explained the word 'premise').
So what's it going to be? Deliberately obtuse or not as smart as a ten year old.

prevaracating.
I don't know what this means so I can't deny doin it.
So what's it going to be? Deliberately obtuse or not as smart as a ten year old.
No other options?
You may or may not have noticed that I respond to different individuals individually. This individual (Dr.A) has accused me of being dishonest and attempted to bait me. Should I ignore this? Perhaps I should, but being human, I incorporate my emotions in my decision making process. Was I being a smartass? I suppose.

Yes it does. It's also known as Right Wing Fundementalism.
You're are right by the way, they should be obvious but with one breath they pray to their god and try to get the definition of science to include magic (to teach in schools no less) but yet they are quite happy to turn a blind eye to their religion when it suits them (to use high tech weapons to invade other countries).
Even in the UK it is starting to happen. Special Interest Groups (I think they are called lobbyists in the US) are trying to erode science to include magic on a par with astrology and voodoo in science classes.
Science classes for gods sake!
