Thanks very much, DA. I'll look further into this. Btw, if you wish, you can save yourself a z consonant in Buzsaw, not that it matters to me.

Wait, you mean it wasn't normal for your browser to open up slowly? Haha, I've been thinking it's something that you'd have to deal with. Highly recommend running msconfig like he said. The furthest right tab should show all the start up programs. Technically speaking, you could uncheck every box if you want, so don't worry about ruining your computer.

Re: Many Thanks To Resident Techys
Much obliged, Taz. All's running well now but our firewall keeps quite busy vaulting those pesky cookies. I wasn't aware of this which you've cited. I'll check it out.

Re: Quick Test
Percy, Since you moved your site to a new web host, I am no longer able to log in using Firefox in combination with PasswordMaker. Also, using Firefox, the site keeps redirecting me to the login page, even if I click links that normally don't require logging in. I also notice that the login page I get with Fireox differs from the one I get with IE, in that the guest login part is missing using Firefox. With IE, I can still read topics and log in, but with Firefox I cannot. This is a problem for me, because I want to use IE as little as possible. Any ideas?

Re: Quick Test
Perhaps the problem is with Passwordmaker? I use Firefox, and I can post without a problem, though admittedly, I have the "remember me?" box ticked, so any time I go to this site I'm logged in automatically.

Re: Quick Test
I'm not familiar with PasswordMaker, but this is very likely a temporary problem. For the time being you're accessing the website through its IP address (209.160.41.193) instead of its domain (). Perhaps PasswordMaker is set up to assume the site is at , which I can imagine would cause problems. But you should be able to log in manually, assuming you remember your password (if not, there's a "Forget your password?" link on the login pag)e. Be sure to go to:
But if this doesn't work then the only simple solution I can think of is to use IE for a day or two. I've already updated the name servers, and it usually only takes 24-48 hours for the updates to propagate around the web. Once that happens you'll be able to go back to accessing the website using .

Huntard writes: Perhaps the problem is with Passwordmaker? I don't think so, because I logged in, using IE, with the password that PasswordMaker generated (copy-pasted it). If I try doing the same in Firefox, (by-passing PasswordMaker) it doesn't work. Strangely however, trying to reply to you, Huntard, I was required to log in again, even though I was listed as being online. I logged in again, using the same method.

Re: Quick Test
Thanks, Percy, I'll keep an eye on it. For the time being, I'll use the work-around I described to Huntard. Added by edit: I went one better and added the new IP-address to the patterns PasswordMaker scans for to log me in as Parasomnium, and it works like a charm. In time, I can probably delete it again. For now: problem solved. Edited by Parasomnium, : No reason given.

Replying as Minnemooseus. I had to log in as such. I had (and probably still am) logged in as Adminnemooseus, but when I went to make this reply I got a "You are not logged" type message. Also checking e-mail notification. Moose
