It is pretty hard to find 50+ carat gemstones. The Hope Diamond for example is 45.52 carats. Just saw on the news yesterday a 300+carat diamond was found, and they will cutting it into smaller stones. The largest will be 80 carats. But your right.

Access denied I have taken frames from the videos for identification of the stones. Frames Video 1Frames Video 2 Frames Video 3 I would guess the stones are 20mm across with a cone circular cut. Still looking for the commercial source for these "stones". But getting close.... zercon perhaps. Oh ya. Finding more Here and Here Search key word "Zircon round brilliant cut" Edited by iceage, : No reason given. Edited by iceage, : No reason given. Edited by iceage, : No reason given. Excellent work.
Those look like the ones. {ABE} http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZdanmeisi748 Can we approximate, by comparing sizes in the video (i.e. hand to stone ratio) about how many carats those gems in the video are? The cut looks extremely similiar. My grandfather was a faceter, and would cut stones with a machine by hand(not computer). I have a nice collection of stones and gems myself. Ok, I haven't watched the whole video through because I didn't have the patience to listen to the "child-like faith" crap and I couldn't fast forward.
With that said, could someone please tell me what the hell is going on? Did the gem stones fall from the sky? Did an angel appear and give the guy the stones? What's going on? I've been hoping someone would bring it up but apparently not.

Hi Gasby.
Basically, yes..the story is that these stones fall outside this bloke's house. Usually when he gets home from work. Also, gold dust appears on his body when he praises God or talks about God etc...One one occasion he got home, got out of his car and an angel was there and gave him a gemstone. The woman at the start of the video was-pre-programming us to swallow the story by basically asking believers to have a child like faith and believe in these things rather than doubt. A ludicrous request because even a strict literalism in the bible only requires that we believe in God. She's asking believers to basically have faith rather than doubt. A false dichotomy. One can have his faith and still apply skepticism to specific stories, otherwise we would have to believe everything based on that logic. Example: "Jesus said to me Allah is God when I met him down the pub". "Ants go to heaven because Jesus told me" I would then have to accept those stories because it's best to have child like faith.

Some scripture that may be appropiate to the situation:
Old Testament writes: A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps New Testament writes: Prove all things; hold fast that which is good Also from some wiseman said:
Wise men make proverbs, but fools repeat them or wait....

And why would God use Gold? He could just remake the tooth with natural enamal? Oh how TRUE, Phat. That observation shows the sham in the whole thing right there.

I was unable to watch the video untill the end, because I was laughing so hard after she said "supernatural weight loss".

When I heard that my jaw dropped.
Hmmm.... lets see what other things are predominately on the minds of over-nourished Americans.... hmmmm... let me check my spam box... oh ya now I remember.... We can only hope that these Supernatural weight loss miracles are shipped to Sudan and resulted in weight gain on several under-nourished Africans.

A ludicrous request because even a strict literalism in the bible only requires that we believe in God. After watching the video, I have come to similar conclusions that you have. There are verses, particularly in Revelation, that speak of heaven with gem encrusted diadems. I've never taken those verses literally. I've always seen it as another parable on heaven like Jesus attempting to describe to us the indescribable shekina glory. Aside from which, the women in the video seem to be prepping us and have a very New Age feel to it, where loose descriptions about God are given. Though it nay be worthless for me to question the motivations of God, I don't see why He would use precious stones or gold, something coveted by man, to prove Himself to this one family in Idaho. Anyone could get some Zirconia and slap on some glitter. I have this much to say about it. If these people are trying to hoax others, woe to them, for surely God will not overlook such an abomination. If it is by God that these happen, woe to me, for surely God is testing my faith. "There is not in all America a more dangerous trait than the deification of mere smartness unaccompanied by any sense of moral responsibility." -Theodore Roosevelt

Are there any verses in the Bible that describe weight loss miracles?
Okay, okay, I will stop now. Edited by Nutcase, : No reason given.

i am by no means a fan of gory, bloody movies and such. what i do like is scare the pants off you, look behind your shoulder and jump at every little creak horror and suspense. Supernatural definately fits the bill. jenson and jared are totally HOT as well. take the X-files, pump it by 500%, add a family of totally hot demon hunters, lots of chills and thrills and absolutely wonderful and witty writing and there you have it. this show is scary without being over the top gory. and i love the interaction between brothres dean and sam. their lines are written so they seem loke real brothers, the things they come off with just kill me some times(lol). and it's just not same unless you're watching it at night with all the lights off. definately adds to the overall creepiness of most of the eps. Supernatural pulled me away from CSI, that's how original and exiting i feel it is. haven't missed a new ep yet. i started tuning in s3, it's not too hard to catch up, even though most of the series is tied together.
