Second hand smoke is a known killer.
There are many
known killers, but please provide the evidence for second hand smoke being a killer.
Also, would you not agree that fast food is a potential killer too?
Why should people that work in the service industry be subjected to peoples smoke?
We
should be asking, why are people forced to work for low wages and poor benefits in the service industry. Smoking is the least of the working classes worries.
Smoking is not a right. Being able to marry the person you love is a right.
Please elaborate. How do you distinguish the 2. Both are man made products, created for specific purposes. Either they are both rights, or neither is a right.
Note, I don't mean being in love and living with the person you love, I mean the legal union itself.
Two men getting married does not infringe on me in any way. Having to eat next to people smoking infringes on my rights.
To what?
How are your rights violated?
Also, would you be ok with a smoking area in a resturant or could that be considered segregation?
