Giants

Hey, the Malachite Man remains are certainly human - and certainly NOT giants.So the question is, where are the REAL remains of these giants ? Are there any, or just stories ?

Do you suppose you could point us to the journal article where the discovery of the skull in your avatar was discovered?Or just some basic information:(1) Who discovered it?
(2) When?
(3) Where?
(4) To what species was it assigned?
(5) Where is it now?Just minor points, answers to which are pre-requisites for passing the laugh test.

My emphasis.This is a recreation of a hearsay report and of no scientific validity whatsoever.Further, I would point out that if a giant of that size had leg bones that were scaled-up versions of normal leg bones, it would be unable to stand. The sqaure-cube law (strength increases as the sqaure of linear size, weight as the cube) would mean that the bones would be unable to support the body weight. I remember some years ago seeing a photgraph of a chinese woman nearly eight foot tall. In walking, she had to support herself on the shoulders of two friends since her legs could not carry her weight.Finally, a cursory look at the Mt Blamco Museum web site show it to be a creationist organisation.

The femur which the guy sculpted was sculpted from a real femur. In the 1950s people in Turkey uncovered tombs and found giant remains. Now the thing that is so weird is that in the bible Og, King of Bashan was 9 cubits by 4 cubits, which is approximately 14feet long by 6 feet wide. One of the giant skeleton remains fit that description.

Hi messenjah:I tried to find the info on that site you linked to, but was unable to track down any specifics. Since you seem to be at least familiar with the site layout and content, could you reference which "museum in France" contains the skull? The two I'm sorta familiar with, the Louvre and the Muse National de Histoire Naturelle, don't seem to have it.

We don't have any giant bones from Turkey. Just one anonymous letter, and a scaled up sculpture of an ordinary human femur.Even the guy who scuplted the femur never saw the supposed original.Why not come up with some hard evidence ?[This message has been edited by PaulK, 08-19-2003]

There are many, many written accounts, just not as many photos. If you consider photos the hard evidence, then I slightly understand how you feel. However there are still alot of photos of giant evidences, as that link there shows some.------------------

The "written accounts" are usually old, and always anecdotal. There don't seem to be any recent or well documented finds at all for real "giants".
