When you find a post that is too good to be missed, nominate it here as one of the March, 2010, Posts of the Month (POTM).
You message subtitle should include the author's name and the topic/thread title.

Indefatigable
Phage0070 in MSG 177 on the Straightforward, hard-to-answer-questions about the Bible/Christianity thread gives a clear, concise, and well-reasoned thesis that cannot be overlooked by atheist, agnostic, or theist alike.
The tone was non-confrontational and allowed blistering logic to make the argument for him. In stepwise fashion, Phage0070 outlines philosophical problems that is sure to leave his counterparts gasping for air.
I don't normally nominate Posts of the Month, but this one earns my respect through and through.

Someone else gave the message at least one 5 rating, and I added my 5 opinion.
The message essence is about ignoring or denying reality that conflicts with personal belief(s). But (IMO) the more important thing is that it touches on the all or nothing/yes or no binary reasoning processes that infects the more extreme creationists.

I'll second the motion. The point that dwisemakes is completely accurate.

Re: dwise1, at "Cases Troublesome for Scientists"
I thought his message 24 in the same thread was better. In fact dwise1 makes three cracking posts: 24, 27 and 28.
Edited by Adminnemooseus, : Fix link. Was going to message 28 and not 24.

I'm deliberately posting this via the admin mode.
A fine little message about what the nature of scientific debate is, or at least should be. Subsequent messages downthread are also looking good.
