Re: Truncated subtitles
I think this is the same problem with quotes that you ran into a week or so ago. I haven't had a chance to fix it yet, but today is looking good.

Login problems
Earlier today I couldn't login with IE 6.0.
Now (obviously) I can.
I'll post the error message later tonight, haven't got it right now.

Problems with IE are hopefully fixed. Please let me know if any problems with IE persist.

admin editing of member message glitch
I just put up 3 "off-topic" banners. The 1st and 3rd worked correctly but the second behaved oddly.
1) When I did a preview, the preview form of the message came up but the edit field box of the page never came up. I had to "back" with the browser get to a page with the edit field box.
2) The "edited by" message was attributed to Flyer, with no date and time stamp. When I tried doing a second edit, the first "edited by" message was overwritten by the new message, and it was still attributed to Flyer, without date and time stamp. Likewise for a third edit by me.
Message in question.

Using current or close to current version of Firefox and Windows 7 (Woo-hoo - New computer!).
ADDED BY EDIT: Now Iblis has overwritten my "edited by" message.
Edited by Adminnemooseus, : See above.

Re: admin editing of member message glitch
I just edited my post there to see if it would get us any clues, it now has your name, my gunsmoke quote, no date and time.

I see each individual edit isn't annotated. That is a plus (provided it is intentional).

Hmmm. One edit annotation. I hadn't thought of that. Maybe that's a good idea, allowing people to edit/expand/augment their edit comments. Hmmm. Something to think about.

Well, I've edited Message 5 twice, so it must be a glitch then.

Email notification
Hey Percy,
I see you've changed the email notification. Its really cool how it shows the message and has links...
But...
The white lettering with the off-white background at the top where it shows the subject and date it really fugly and illegible.
Plus, I just plain don't like the black background in the body of the message. But that's whatever.
The other part needs to at least be readable.
Bravo anyways!

Re: Email notification
Yeah I too really like the fact that the reply message comes as part of the notification.
But the black text on dark blue background is doing my eyes in!!

Re: Email notification
That isn't the intended appearance. If you guys let me know which email tools you're using I'll try to get it right for them.

Re: Email notification
I get the same using either Firefox or IE8 as the browser. I am using Yahoo web based mail for notifications.

Okay, I've seen what Yahoo is doing to it. I'll see what I can do.
