To be frank, I ignore such features of whatever forum I'm in. And particularly in a forum in which there's discussion of issues that members could be expected to strongly disagree with each other. It really should come as no surprise that those whose position is in agreement with mine might rate me higher than those whose position is in opposition to mine.
In my mind, obcessing over such ratings is an ego thing. I had been married for 28 years and was summarily dropped for absolutely no reason after several years of mistreatment. Believe me, the last thing I would have is any ego.
Such ratings are meaningless, so simply treat them as such.

At present Europa is showing a member rating of 3.
3? I would swear that when I posted he hadn't even reached 2.0 yet!
Guess that shows how meaningless those ratings are! {grin}

Re: Evoking Zeus Doesn't Pay
Edited by lyx2no, 06-11-2010 7:33 PM: Zuse?
Zeus was the Greek chief of the gods. Konrad Zuse was a mechanical engineer in Nazi Germany who was also a pioneer in designing digital computers.
Your call as to which you had meant.
PS
FWIW, Europa is German for Europe. As well as being a Phoenician princess in Greek mythology.
