Red, amber, green post traffic bars
Do I remember rightly that there used to be red, amber, green, topic traffic bars?
Any chance of getting them back?

I think that yellow folder in the far left column changes color more towards red as there is more traffic in a thread.

They all look the same shade of yellow, to me.

There's not been a lot of difference in activity
But look closer...
The Race Issue, and Is Christianisty Polytheistic look more solid yellow than the others in between them (which have some tiny red dots that slightly alter the shade)

ABE:
If you scroll all the way down to the bottome of the All Topics page, on the left is a key explaining the different folder colors.

It was a horizontal bar representing activity level. As the bar became longer with increasing activity levels the color would change from green to yellow to orange and eventually to red.
Yes, it will be returning. The folder color indications are insufficient.
Sorry, I can't provide a schedule.

Smilies List Now in the Database
I've just released code that moves the smilies list into the database. The change should be transparent. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.

dBCodes replaced with HTML?
Hi, Percy.
While trying to edit a message, I noticed that the "qs" and other dBCodes are being replaced with the messy HTML table codes after the message is posted.
What's the reason for this?
It makes it hard for me to edit typos in my messages after posting them (which I have to do compulsively, or it causes a little tick in my left eye).

Re: Smilies List Now in the Database
Hi Percy, speaking of smilies ...
I've noticed that if you post with smilies disabled (so that an url posts correctly, etc - usually the , , , and ones) and then edit the post the smilies get enabled again.
It remembers to include signature in editing, so I'm wondering if you can fix it (with your vast spare time) so that the smilies button is also remembered.
(of course I would prefer that the default be off, but that's me)
Enjoy.

This is fixed. Thanks for the bug report, and also to RAZD about the effect on peek.

Maintaining the proper setting of "Disable Smilies" is on the list.

Re: Test possible signature bug
Hi Percy,
This is just to make people aware of a small glitch
I just updated my sig to remove extra spaces that seem to have been inserted.
An example of this can be see here Message 52
I doubt it will affect many sigatures, as you seem to have the board set to only show one when there are multiples (same with line spacing), however these spaces were between the large letters and the rest of the words. There were 3 in each word that needed to be deleted.
I suggest people check their own sigs and update them if necessary, rather than advocate a software change.
Enjoy
