Great game to watch - awesome defending on the part of New Zealand and I thought Peston was great in goal. *Very* dubious reason for the penalty, but then the NZ goal was equally dubious (although excellent) for its own reasons

And I was thoroughly entertained watching Cameroon last night - spirited match and I think they can be proud of themselves despite being knocked out.
​
These great games just make the England debacles all the more unbearbale...

We were completely outclassed by Germany - they had the lesser possession but did so much with it at the critical moments. Our attack wasn't bad, but it lacked the speed and power that was required. Defense was... well, what defense?
