Re: Table that thought and KISS me
One of the items on the todo list is dBCodes for tables. It's actually half-implemented. I had to divert my efforts to other things, but will get back to it eventually.
Your strong interest in working out the details of things like HTML and dBCodes and so forth leads me to ask if you've ever considered learning a little programming?

Thank you RAZD and Percy (percy pointed it out in the thread in which I asked, but I've cluttered it enough with questions).

Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people

Finding the TID number
Several people asked where to find the TID number to use in the [TID=(TID number)] code.
If you use PEEK on any message, in the navigation bar you get
http:⁄⁄www.evcforum.net/cgi-bin/Peek.cgi?action=peek&f=19&t=13204&m=502514
where "t=13204" is the TID number ("m=502514" gives you the MID number and "f=19" gives you the FID number
[TID=13204]
[MID=502514]
[FID=19]

Re: To the braindead
Hi, Taz.
This would be useful if someone would teach them how to doubt appropriately first.

i tired those but i messed up i guess. my question remains unanswered--do i have to manually type in the codes or what? just putting in a post the codes without saying if one copies and pastes, hits a button or manually types means you did not communicate clearly enough.

yes, you type the codes in manually. If you want to see how someone formatted a post you can use the peak mode.
The error so far in your messages is not using a closing code.

Hi Archaeologist!
Which board were you using where the codes were inserted for you so I can take a look?

Percy, I set up Dream catcher to have buttons to insert codes. I also have html turned off and created a set of dBcodes to implement a limited set of html functions.

Okay, thanks, that's what I thought he meant. That kind of thing is coming, but there's no schedule at the present time.

You mean you enabled certain phpBB codes, or that you're coding now?
