I was once accused of singling out religious nutjobs, while leaving the atheist ones alone. Here is one such case. This frakkin moron went off the deep end and I would like to publicly shame him before the right wingers beat us to the punch. Here is the "manifesto" or his list of demands. This guy is (was, he was gunned down by police) looney toons, no doubt.
Long story short: he took a number of hostages at the Discovery Channel building on protest of their programming, requesting they air more programs about being eco-friendly. He was of the mindset that planet earth is better off without homo-sapiens.

Well, if nothing else, I guess he gets high marks for consistency. After all, he got himself taken out of the equation, all for the betterment of the planet.

Just another suicide bomber.

Suicide implies the person dies.

It works!
No, he was the only one that died........
See, evolution works!

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.

Well, technically, you are correct. However, I'm pretty sure we can all agree that when someone says "suicide bomber", they don't think of someone who blows themselves up simply as a means to commit said suicide......

That is just a measure of how competent they are. It's likely he was just a minor league suicide bomber, inexperienced and so not really ready to be a major league suicide bomber.

Perhaps he was in training. You know, like the McKamikaze Highlanders.

Yeah, exactly how do you gain experience as a suicide bomber?

Exactly. But he had obviously not finished training. No kilt.

Practice, practice, practice.
It's best to begin with smaller charges that just maim a little then gradually work up to hoisting ones own petard.

He was of the mindset that planet earth would be better off without homo-sapiens.
I took the liberty of replacing "is" with "would be" in the above quote. "Would have been" is another possibility.
I see the above quoted as an irrefutable truth. Want to tell me why I am wrong?

A traditional philisophical question.
He was of the mindset that planet earth is better off without homo-sapiens.
Could the earth be a better place if there was no one around to appreciate it?
