Oblivious much?
Yerrg, scolding Admin for acting against the intentions of the forum founder in Message 9.
Yerrg writes:
Before anything else, it is your call to close this thread, or to continue to argue with me on the relevancy of this thread in some board of this forum.
The way I see you, you are already becoming an obstacle to the free flow of ideas in this forum against the intentions of the founder.
If you know about the meltdown of the Internet Infidels Discussion Board (IIDB), it suffered a calamitous meltdown owing to people like you, who wielded so much power due to the confidence and trust in them from the part of owners of the board, that they started to act arbitrarily in their treatment of lesser supervisors and mass posters members of the forum.
Now, read about the catastrophic meltdown of the Richard Dawkins forum, it is the same sad story of people like you who wielded so much power, that they did more harm than any good they thought they were serving in the forum, by their employment of arbitrary to my observation powers to obstruct the free flow of ideas.
I am not going to continue to cater your obstructionistic or sadistic self-indulgence.

If we didn't laugh at stupidity, life would be too painful.

The idea of the sacred is quite simply one of the most conservative notions in any culture, because it seeks to turn other ideas - uncertainty, progress, change - into crimes.
Salman Rushdie
This rudderless world is not shaped by vague metaphysical forces. It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It’s us. Only us. - the character Rorschach in Watchmen

And there'd be an awful lot less to laugh at.

I fail at embedding. But this seems highly appropriate.

You can't make this shit up...
Segway company owner dies after rolling into river.
I know it's not right to laugh at death, but fuck, the owner of Segway's dies on a Segway rolling his dumb-ass into river?
It's comedy gold!!! I wonder if his last words were, "Hey, do these things have brakes? Oh shit.........."

I laughed when Jim Fixx died. I'm wondering how Keith Richards could die that would make us laugh. (A cookie for anybody except oni who gets the reference.)

Evolution: The Monkey's Viewpoint
A preacher, a long time ago cited the monkey's viewpoint on evolution. It goes something like this:
If man evolved, the ornery cuss, for sure, he didn't evolve from us.
Right on, Mr. Monkey!

BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW.
The immeasurable present eternally extends the infinite past and infinitely consumes the eternal future.

Re: Evolution: The Monkey's Viewpoint
You do realize that evolution does not claim such a thing don't you?
The funny part of the post is that a Preacher would say such a thing and show such utter ignorance. But that is typical for fundies.
