LoL. They're all abbreviated and distorted takeoffs from the Genesis Record. None of them have any significant fulfilled stuff and other corroborating evidences such as the Biblical record has.
For example, none have anything to contribute to this particular topic.

Hey Buz!
Buzstrodamus writes:
1st Peter 3:7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away but My words shall not pass away.
2 Peter 3:12 Looking for and hastening unto the coming of the Son of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved and the elements shall melt with fervent heat.
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away.
According to Revelation 20 and 21 there will be a messianic kingdom for 1000 years shortly when Satan is chained in the bottomless pit. It will be utopia on earth. After the 1000 years Satan will be loosed again for an unstated time and rebellion will come against Messiah's kingdom. Satan and his angels will then be cast into the lake of fire. The earth and heavens pertaining to it will be burned up. (imo, likely our galaxy, The Milky Way) There will be new heavens, new earth and a New Jerusalem where the pearly gates and streets of gold, etc will be.
Perhaps the demise of the Milky Way phenomena relates to this prophecy.
The qualifier "perhaps" (a frequently used term in your posts) was adequate enough to warrant a "Meh, whatever...it's just 'ol Buz..." as my initial response.
But then...

See, here's where your aforementioned "perhaps" (like in so many of your other posts) disappears into the aether, to be replaced by something much different from "perhaps".
So tell us, Buz, how does the Bible have anything more to contribute to this particular topic than old Native American fables? IOW, where is the major difference with regard to biblical scripture which explains galactic phenomena more thoroughly than the California Indians' mythology? I don't need to hear about any "fulfilled prophecy relative to blah blah blah" or "corroborating evidence relative to blah blah blah." I'd simply like to know how you get from Omni's OP and linked article to ancient writers' doublespeak concerning revelation.
Perhaps your perhapses should have more substance and staying power than the flowery, wispy farts they seem to so often be.
Have a good one.
p.s. In keeping with the spirit of the "Articulating in the Debates..." thread, I thought I should mention that the word "Temperal" in your signature line should read "Temporal". You're welcome.

Actually, many of the Native American fables and prophecies have a far higher rate of actually being fulfilled than Buz has ever shown for any Biblical Prophecy.

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

With millions, if not thousands, of devout worshippers, the Church of the FSM is widely considered a legitimate religion, even by its opponents — mostly fundamentalist Christians, who have accepted that our God has larger balls than theirs.
