My guess would be those organizations that label themselves as news organizations.I think a better option (and directly on topic) would be for certain "news" stations to better and more clearly identify which of their programs were opinion pieces. For example, certain programs are in a time slot that garners a majority of the target viewership where they are looking for news, but they are getting "opinion" labeled as news, on a "news" channel, that claims to be fair and balanced.

Yes. The FBI is investigating it. However, I wouldn't say "shitstorm" since most are more concerned with the Debt Ceiling. Admittedly, though, I don't follow (at all) mainstream media. I listen to WPR (Wisconsin's NPR) and read Reddit. I'd say it is about second most talked about behind the Debt Ceiling. I'm sure most people think it's a problem across the pond and nothing we need to worry about.Edited by hooah212002, : No reason given.

Since when does faux news care what private businesses do? Since when is faux news the enemy of free economy? If it had been "earthlings" (see: the UN) doing this, they'd claim some sort of NWO or One World Gov't takeover or some shit.On a brighter note, there is actually surprising lack of crazy (for once) in the comments section.
