Re: IE and XP
I'll give it a try. I've tried Fedora and openSUSE and liked them both, but they felt unfinished (my terminal-fu is atrocious, and my coding ability is non-existent, so modifying the OS to that extent is out of the question).

FF4
I find all the current big browsers to be sucky.
I refuse to use IE, it just gives you an unpleasent surfing experience.
I find that Firefox is the best of the current sucky browsers, mostly because i wont go in the net without Adblock+ and NoScript.
Ive tried similar plugins for Chrome, but they didnt work half as well.
At work i mostly use Lynx.

Re: FF4
I currently have SeaMonkey, Chrome, and Iron in addition to FF4. I have FF as my default browser though.
I would love to try any-other browsers that are compatible with Linux.

You are running Ubuntu right? Just go to your terminal and type in "lynx evcforum.net"
Great simple textbased browser. Some (geeky) sites do show properly, however most do not.
Opera runs linux too, with packages on their site.
There's Konqueror, but i really dislike it personally.
Dillo is a VERY fast browser, but it lacks alot of features. It only supports HTML/XHTML

The primary benefit to MS is realized when you purchase more Microsoft products. There is no benefit to Microsoft if you insist on running XP for the next 10 years, regardless of what browser you use.
