My favorite version of "High Hopes".

Yes RIP Richard,
I never got to see a Floyd or DG show while Rick was alive, seen Roger waters back when he done RADIO K.A.O.S., many moons ago. I always liked The Final Cut, it was more of a Waters album than most, some great music. Two Suns is a rather disturbing tune, The Gunners Dream just makes me teary eyed, lots of emotion in that whole album. Much of it is songs that were not included in The Wall album but were in the movie, as I am sure you already knew of course. Here is Gunners Dream/Final Cut.

Sly and the Family Stone
Music I grew up on. Probably why I love Brass so much.

Re: Mazzy's favorite?
I was hoping this topic could be about the beauty of music. Your response would be better placed in the humor thread don't you think? I could give a rats ass about what you think mazzy would like. If others think I am wrong then tell me. What music moves you?

Beautiful... if you had not posted that then I doubt I would've ever heard it, thanks. I was hoping this could be a place simply to share music no matter where it comes from or what it is about.

Re: Greydon Square
Great, music should make you feel, not always good, rage/outrage is something we should all experience. Music is universal...it moves us all in many ways.

Re: Greydon Square
It is not what I took from the trak...it is how it made me feel... speaking of child molestation...ect...good tune, very honest and to the point JMO, watching it evoked many emotions, rage and outrage were just on top.

Old and in the way
Jerry Garcia - banjo, vocals
David Grisman - mandolin, vocals
Peter Rowan - vocals, guitar
Vassar Clements - fiddle
John Kahn - bass
What an awesome group of musicians. One of my favorite blue grass tunes

Standing on the Moon
A beautiful song. Of course the Dead done so many songs that I love, but this one always makes me feel nostalgic with memories of my first love.

Here is a, somewhat cheesy performance art, version of one my favorite songs from The Wall, along with the movie version if I can get it to work right.
Thanks for that version of pigs on the wing, don't think I had heard it before.

Sir Elton John
Music from my youth... I think this was originally a "b side" for Benny and the Jets or Daniel maybe? Beautiful song, Elton is one of my favorite piano/keyboard players. He has made a number of songs that move me, this is one of the best.
