Re: Tea Party again, surprise surprise
And is it possible that the other side sent some of those as plants?
Hrm, you seem like the person to ask: I've been looking to get a new tinfoil hat. Where do you have yours made, Coyote?

Re: You really need to think about what you write and be more clear
Your opinion.
Objective fact:
quote:
Other details are equally eye-opening. Pew judged the levels of knowledgeability (correct answers) among those surveyed and found that those who scored the highest were regular watchers of Comedy Central's The Daily Show and Colbert Report. They tied with regular readers of major newspapers in the top spot -- with 54% of them getting 2 out of 3 questions correct. Watchers of the Lehrer News Hour on PBS followed just behind.
Virtually bringing up the rear were regular watchers of Fox News. Only 1 in 3 could answer 2 out of 3 questions correctly. Fox topped only network morning show viewers.
It's been proven that Fox is a network that deliberately misleads their viewers. That's never been proven about any mainstream media source.
They are now trying to legislate their opinions into law by branding anything else hate speech.
And, what legislation is that, by bill number? Please be specific.

80% of what is reported is flawed, from everyone.
I'm sure any minute now you're going to post the evidence of that?
I won't hold my breath.

Re: reasonable racism
How many black people, on average, like fried chicken and/or watermelon? What are the odds?
Who doesn't like fried chicken and watermelon?

Why are lefties and other socialists so upset with the Tea Party?
Because they're the same ol' unemployed racist rump that has always been the base of the Republican Party, only now we all have to pretend that it's "patriotic" to photoshop Obama into a watermelon field and complain about government takeovers of Medicare?
Haven't the lefties and socialists had their own advocacy organizations for years?
Haven't the conservatives always complained endlessly about that?

Don't you get tired of walking into these buzzsaws, Coyote?
Could you provide some evidence for the "unemployed" claim directed at Tea Party members vs. the usual leftie/socialist protesters?
quote:
With No Jobs, Plenty of Time for Tea Party
When Tom Grimes lost his job as a financial consultant 15 months ago, he called his congressman, a Democrat, for help getting government health care.
Then he found a new full-time occupation: Tea Party activist.
http://www.nytimes.com/.../03/28/us/politics/28teaparty.html
And by the way, the charge of "racist" has just about been used up as a pejorative.
Well, good. Maybe then you can stop complaining more about people being called "racist" than about actual racism.
And are you saying it is always "racist" to disagree with the direction medical care is headed under the current administration?
Did I say that somewhere? Can you be specific?
Why do leftists/socialists keep trying to push their flawed agenda in places it wasn't designed for?
Why do you think it's "lefties/socialists" who are doing that? Seems like you've opened a couple of political threads in your day, Coyote. IOKIYAR, I guess.

If this website is degenerating into a leftist/socialist playground it isn't on my shoulders.
This is so stupid I almost have no comment, except to juxtapose it with your subsequent remarks:
Those who disagree with that agenda have been silent so long that lefties and socialists think they own the playing field. They aren't used to any disagreement. That is changing, and it's about time.
Well, so which is it, Coyote? Is EvC Forum a former hotbed of clandestine socialist activity now being brought into the enlightenment of your conservativism, or is it a once-proud marketplace of ideas now "degenerating" into a "leftist playground"? Do you find it significant that you can't keep your self-serving hagiography straight for even the space of a single paragraph? I know I do.
Better get used to it.
I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to "get used to", since in a single post to me you've described EvC as moving, ideologically, in two completely separate directions. Am I supposed to get used to its degeneration into a leftist playground, or get used to the steady march of conservative voices as led by you and yours? I'm confused!
Oh, wait, no, I'm not. You're confused, because the content of your political positions is nothing more than whatever pisses off liberals; updated daily.
