That's a Twilight Zone episode, "It's a Good Life," Wikipedia says the original air date was 11/3/1961. I've seen it many times.

My favourite.
You left out the part about how a random woman from Kenya that he met at an airport told him that there are still something like pterodactyls roaming around there. That settles it, dinosaurs aren't extinct. As an aside, have you every seen (in your tenure as Fearless Leader, here) evidence to support Creation? It seems as if (in the light of recent threads about creo inability to state their points intelligibly) an end to intelligent debate on this issue could be on the horizon. The above ontological example models the zero premise to BB theory. It does so by applying the relative uniformity assumption that the alleged zero event eventually ontologically progressed from the compressed alleged sub-microscopic chaos to bloom/expand into all of the present observable order, more than it models the Biblical record evidence for the existence of Jehovah, the maximal Biblical god designer. -Attributed to Buzsaw Message 53 Moreover that view is a blatantly anti-relativistic one. I'm rather inclined to think that space being relative to time and time relative to location should make such a naive hankering to pin-point an ultimate origin of anything, an aspiration that is not even wrong. Well, Larni, let's say I much better know what I don't want to say than how exactly say what I do.

Given the current crop of creationists (off the top of my head, shadow71, Dawn Bertot, Bolder-dash, Buzsaw, zi ko, Chuck77, Big_Al35), intelligent debate about creationism or intelligent design is no longer taking place here, and has not in some time.
Here's a great quote from the PZ Myers blog: "This one isn’t crazy. It’s from an atheist, so it’s also properly spelled and punctuated, with good grammar." Sums it up pretty well. --Percy

So handicap, censor and limit all non Creationists and allow Creationists to use the only tools they have; nonsense, misrepresentation and innuendo.
Seems fair. AbE: Just look at the sub-title of this post. Edited by jar, : Point to evidence of fair behavior.Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

Obviously I haven't been censored because I've demonstrated the ability to use the word "stupid" responsibly!
Seriously, I did think of you when I wrote that, but if you're going to take a hard line on which guidelines you're willing to follow then I'm going to take a hard line on enforcing them. --Percy

Humorous isn't it.

The comments are the best part. No way that's true. There are some good comments, but for the most part, the comments are pretty ordinary and predictable fun poking at the clueless. But the transcript of Hovind-Taylor conversation is itself a real hoot. The conversation is way funnier than any of the comments. It's actually easier to believe the whole thing was a badly done POE, than it is to believe anyone is so stupid. My personal favorite bit is the one about UFOs being demons.

I stopped reading when they said they had talked a lot about dinosaurs (with no mention a single dinosaurs details or even reference to a species).
If I was a kid who was interested in dinosuars I would have felt right gipped! Edited by Larni, : No reason given. The above ontological example models the zero premise to BB theory. I may have spotted Cloris Leachman in her prime in that clip. Always liked her, but never realized how awesome she is until hearing her on the Howard Stern Show about two years ago; probably the wittiest and funniest octogenarian alive today. Or rather make that funny female octogenerian as Don Rickles is still out there kicking.

I agree, Frako.
There is no better love between 2 people than mutual respect for each other WT Young, 2002 Who gave anyone the authority to call me an authority on anything. WT Young, 1969 Since Evolution is only ~90% correct it should be thrown out and replaced by Creation which has even a lower % of correctness. W T Young, 2008

It's not really meant to be funny, but I can't help but laugh. Got to love the responsibility and honesty that characterises the fifth estate in Britian:
