I used to not like Obama. Disgruntled Hillary supporter here. But as time went on, I found myself more and more in agreement with Obama. As a matter of fact, I think he got the conservatives right where he wants them. As a matter of fact, I saw this trap last year and even mentioned it several times.
Obama is a different kind of liberal. One that I am now proud to say I'm a supporter of.
And no, I'm not going to explain myself further. Just wait and see.

Re: My take
You honestly believe the conservative base will rally behind a guy that cheated on his wife, been married 3 times, and thinks poor kids should work to eat? How are they going to put all the fags in prison if they voted in a president that can't keep his Willy in his pants?

Re: My take
I'm having a lot of trouble wrapping my head around the fact that they are rallying behind Newt Gingrich. Everything about this man is completely the opposite of what the conservative base have been claiming to be about. It's mind boggling that his numbers are dominating the others. I mean... do the conservatives know what they want anymore?
Just a moment...

Re: Newt Campaigns For Obama In Well-Thought-Out Move
Hahaha, president Newt Gingrich will stand against the tyranny of gay marriage and uphold the principles of adultery.

Did you guys hear? Obama will fly to hawaii for his delayed vacation. The trip will cost tax payers $2 billion a day, according to god's chosen people (rush limbaugh, michele bachman, and other holy republican morally superior people).

Just watched Men in Black again. Couldn't help but notice Newt Gingrich as an alien. Was going to put that portion of the video on youtube, but found someone already put it up there.

Freedom from religion?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogjIkUJk4Zw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jb9HkcBPks
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnfKFqWc-XY
Why do christians keep repeating this claim that we have freedom of religion not freedom from religion? I mean, do christians not able to read? Here's the first amendment. And don't tell me these people don't speak for the majority. These are the elites from the christian camp, the best they could muster against the rest of us.
quote:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
I mean, is there some kind of mental block I'm not aware of? Why can't christians understand that in order to have true freedom of religion everyone must have the freedom from religion so that no one religion can take over the country. And it says so right there in the 1st amendment. And I increased the size of the text so that people can't pretend they can't see that part of the 1st amendment.

Re: Freedom from religion?
So, you're saying I have no right to be free from religion?

Re: Freedom from religion?
CS writes:
I don't see how congress being unable to establish a religion means that you are free from religion in general. Just because congress can't establish a religion doesn't mean that Jehovah's Witnesses can't come knocking on my door... but I don't think that's what you're talking about. Too, I don't what you're talking about is what they are talking about.
Memo: It's been long established that the first amendment don't just apply to congress anymore. Try looking up selective incorporation.
You should watch those videos. Those are the best people the christian right can muster up.

Bachmann ended campaign
Too bad. I really really wanted to see her run for presidency. May be she'd pick Sarah Palin as her VP running mate. That would be totally awesome.

Re: Iowa Decides, No Not Really It Doesn't
He's right, though. Romney really is unelectable. I know I'm not suppose to say this, but republicans in Iowa don't count. I think they got more cats there than people.
As a matter of fact, I don't think anyone in this lot is electable. They either have too many skeletons in their closets or the conservatives won't accept them.
(1) Romney - seriously, with all the prejudices flying around in the conservative community, are we to believe they will elect a mormon?
(2) Santorum - Skeleton in closet.
(3) Rick Perry - Somehow, I don't think people can stand another 8 years of GWB.
(4) Gingrich - Way way too many skeletons in his closets.
(5) Ron Paul - yeah, like main stream conservatives will vote for this libertarian.
Out of all the conservatives out there, they couldn't find anyone better than these clowns? You know, someone a little less unelectable?
