Re: Gingrich Will Kick Obama's Butt Go Gingrich!!
He has his record of some immorality and moderate policies coupled with his conversion,
I look through his voting record and I don't see this "Moderate" you speak of. I don't believe I'm seeing "what I want to see" as I definitely see a "moderate" streak in John McCain and Olimpia Snowe.
Please point it out. Keep in mind "Moderate" does not apply to republican positions as opposed to Libertarian positions.
holds a candle to that of President Kennedy and our pal, ultra-horny President Slick Willy Clinton who, alas, was elected to a 2nd term.
Hardly the Kennedy affairs unknown at the time and Clinton's issues were also unknown and still are. The "scandal" happened in the second term.
Of course, back in Kennedy's day there was no fair and balanced Fox New
Of course not. Media Actually was about reporting News instead of of the stupidity we have going on at Fox and MSNBC.
which president Kennedy's immorality could have been aired. The lame-stream liberal media
This is off topic but I feel I need to say it.
The term "Liberal Media" is an Oxymoron when you're talking about for profit corporate media. This in itself should be a hint that there is no liberal media. Only special interest corporate media.
I suggest you fact check your sources instead of tuning to the channel the talks about what you want to hear. Fox and MSNBC are graded factually inaccurate by many studies and CNN is coming up the rear. (Fox being the worst)
Just for chuckles

And Gingrich is a member of the CFR. Unlike Obama. But at least Gingrich is an adulterer, hypocrite, liar and thief, so that makes him whiter better than Obama in some way that it's hard to put one's finger on.

Of course it's important, that's why Newt has pledged himself to protect marriage. So long as it isn't one of his. After all, if he can't have a faithful monogamous relationship, why should anyone else?

Altered?
At 3:31 the cheering sounds edited.
The picture looks fine - there is no edit.
But the cheering abruptly stops in an unnatural way.
If you listen to other parts (e.g. 1:29 or 4:06) the cheering peters out in a normal way.
(Granted, this 'normal' cheering still sounds very stage managed.)
Does anyone have an explanation that doesn't involve dishonest collusion by CNN or Fox?

And worse yet, he was one of the biggest village idiots in congress howling for President Clinton to be burned at the stake. I hope Newt gets the nomination, the Dem political machine will have ample fodder to make him squirm.

Just who, exactly, in the Republican field would the Democrats not have ample fodder for?
The only person, IMHO who had a shot at winning the moderates and undecideds against Obama was Huntsman...but of course the Republican base tried to get rid of him as fast as they could.
This year, the nominee will be Romney, since it's his "turn." Next election, it will be Gingrich (unless someone from a major family, like the Bushes or Reagans [fat chance there] decides top run.).
After that, if Santorum keeps trying, he may get a chance, but his name is literally mud (and worse) so it may be too much of a hurdle for him to actually overcome.

Good point. However Mitt Romney is the only candidate that doesnt seem batshit crazy. Santorum appeals to the base but to wingnut.imo.
Newt is the last of the old Neocons. Urban Dictionary: Neocon
He will appeal to his base and bs his way into the nomination and will hope the whole country suffers from amnesia election day.

I, too, believe that Mitt is the best option the Republicans have at this point, but with all of his changing stances, plus his approval of the Massachusets health care plan, many of the things the Republicans would have gone after Obama for are effectively neutralized.

What, Me Worry?
I don't understand what's got everybody's panties in a wad; it seems that there are really only two possible outcomes.
If a Republican wins:
it frees Obama up to become UN Secretary General and institute the New World Order and make everyone wear a mark and all the men wear a galabiyya.
and the world is gonna end before the Republican President Elect can take office anyway.
So where is the problem?

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

I must say I am honestly frightened at the prospect of a obstructionist, corporate social-con hawk getting elected.
I honestly feel trepidation that people are so propagandized about the 'evils' of socialism and the perils of the lamestream media perpetuating the leftist agendas. The march of Islam taking over America and the mandates of a black socialist liberal passing legislation to secure his power block. It is not just Fox News/ Glenn Beckster's and dittoheads, but actual members of congress who believe in deathcamps and conspiracy theories of the worse order who are making decisions in American policy.
We have a problem.

Re: What, Me Worry?
Jar, The Mayans beat you to your end of the World predictions.
My take on it is this: Obama policies begin to take affect and there is a positive however slight gain in American economy.
Republicans take the credit.

I think it would be best for 99% of americans if it wasn't a cakewalk for ANY candidate. There are so many issues against Obama, it would be better for 99% of americans if an intelligent/ethical/law-abiding/empathetic candidate made Obama sweat.
For example, since I am so against the repugnant military industrial complex, I would like someone LIKE Ron Paul (but not actually Ron Paul) to drill Obama about: budgets for cluster/phospherous bombs that kill children, money for hundreds of hegemonic military bases around the world (some of which are falsely called "embassies" by crack-meth-users), contracts for military aircraft that the Pentagon does not even want/use, etc. . . . (or how about platforms on human rights, or constitutional law, or MASSIVE corporate welfare give-aways, or torture at Guantanamo/Bagram, or . . .).
Unfortunately, the corporate-media will successfully impede any such meaningful debate and give full attention to "people" like Palin, Romney, and Gingrich. (Yeaaah Fox "News" and the people who watch it, yeaaah.)
