Re: No pictures !!
There is no way to convert a particle into energy.
Um, what about this:
I like pictures, so here's a couple to reiterate Trixie's point about the bath water being better than your sponge:
Here's some water going down a drain:
Here is a spiral galaxy:
Its all that mass at the center of the galaxy pulling everything inwards that makes those spirals, not anything like the outward force of the water leaving your spinning sponge.

You can click on the peek button at the bottom right to see the codes I used to quote and add pictures.

Re: No pictures !!
Not even the explosion of an entire galaxy will destroy or convert one single particle.
That's one of the stupidest things I've read in a while... Have you never heard of nuclear fusion?
Where did all the energy for that bomb come from? Oh, and how would a galaxy explode? WTF?
I see serious problems with current understanding of gravity, magnetics and light, as well as problems with the current popular theories of the Big Bang and Accretion.
Yeah, physics ain't easy to understand. And it is counter-intuitive. But your failings in understanding are no problem for it, itself.
I have so much more to reveal but you have not shown me you are ready to understand it.
Which goes to show that you're spouting erroneous bullshit, not that we, ourselves, are lacking anything.
I don't see any value or integrity to you postings.

Re: Meet Master Jet
I think that within this forum website, people who join should be allowed and encouraged to write a biography.
I prefer anonimity...
New members can then say 'hello and good day to everyone, my name is Jet Thomson', and so on. Allow me to present myself. I live in Tucson, Arizona. I was born here in 1957.
One of the best rules is argue the position, not the person. It doesn't matter who you are. Your position, otoh, can be easily critiqued.
I stand behind my theory. At the very least, it is noted as being quite interesting, and often is found to 'make sense' to the average person.
That's actually a bad sign... physics is counter-intuitive.
I am merely compelled to present my ideas, right or wrong, to the world.
Uncriticized, though? You didn't even respond to the fact that draining water looks more like a spiral galaxy than a spinning sponge does.
I took a easy physics class and psychology 1a and 1b as electives but it was later when I studied magnetic concepts on my own,
I studied the physics of light and it was difficult, but it was at a Big 10 University... I saw the theory and then we went into the physics lab and saw it for ourselves. It was right. The physics calculations were spot on.
Don’t let your belief in god get in the way

The truth of our faith becomes a matter of ridicule among the infidels if any Catholic, not gifted with the necessary scientific learning, presents as dogma what scientific scrutiny shows to be false. - St. Thomas Aquinas

Re: No pictures !!
At this point, I agree there has been nothing of value to my postings.
Quit wasting your and our time then.
I am working on it. I am swamped by your responses.
Spend less time writing up one-liners to every single post and start getting into make some valid points...
It is making it difficult to get my sources located an posted.
Be honest: you don't have any sources at all, do you?
Don't respong to that with a "yes", respond to it with the actual sources.

Re: Accretion problems and exoplanets
On the other hand, in attepts to explain my theory, I researched to see if exoplanets have been found in exteme proximity to thier host star. Assuming planets come from their host star, I would expect to find planets closer and closer to their host star and eventually find planets in contact with thier host star in the process of being ejected. This is what I have found.
Taken from this website:
Centre national de la recherche scientifique
The planets have also broken another record: at distances of only 897,000 km and 1,137,000 km, they are closer to their star than any other exoplanet ever observed.
From that article:
quote:
{A team} has discovered the ruins of a planetary system, consisting of the cores of two former giant planets stripped of their gaseous envelopes, orbiting around the remnants of the core of a red giant. These two exoplanets are the smallest, hottest and closest to their parent star ever discovered. This finding, published in the 22 December 2011 issue of the journal Nature could shed new light on the fate of planetary systems.
Accretion theory and planetary formation are about the beginning of a planet's life, the article you linked to is about the end of those planet's lives

Re: Hot Jupiters
I personally think that the attitudes of the scientific community as displayed on this board are responsible for the retarded growth of scientific knowledge in the last 50 years.

By reading the Bible, silly. Duh!

Under my theory, your theory is stupid because you're just making shit up and trying to get stuff to stick to it.
