Pray tell, why can't you simply answer yes or no? Why must you add a gratuitous tu quoque?
Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. -- Thomas Jefferson We see monsters where science shows us windmills. -- Phat It has always struck me as odd that fundies devote so much time and effort into trying to find a naturalistic explanation for their mythical flood, while looking for magical explanations for things that actually happened. -- Dr. Adequate ...creationists have a great way to detect fraud and it doesn't take 8 or 40 years or even a scientific degree to spot the fraud--'if it disagrees with the bible then it is wrong'.... -- archaeologist

Would you care to go back to Message 143 and actually answer the question there?
No to be hostile at all, Coyote. I am just a bit puzzled. You're sharp as a scalpel when it comes to science, yet you seem to turn in to Buz (I love the old man, I do) when it comes to a political discussion. What you've offered is a book with an opinion, which is not evidence. What you're avoiding is clear documentation that Fox lies. Please explain. Your beliefs do not effect reality and evidently reality does not effect your beliefs. -Theodoric Reality has a well-known liberal bias.-Steven Colbert I never meant to say that the Conservatives are generally stupid. I meant to say that stupid people are generally Conservative. I believe that is so obviously and universally admitted a principle that I hardly think any gentleman will deny it.- John Stuart Mill

Some facts would have been nice, but since opinions are all you've got, let's look at this one:
"Fox News is clearly more conservative than ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and National Public Radio. Some will conclude that 'therefore, this means that Fox News has a conservative bias,'" he writes in an advance copy provided to Washington Whispers. "Instead, maybe it is centrist, and possibly even left-leaning ..." Now if Fox is "left-leaning", then it is strange that conservatives are always so keen to defend them. Given that they also lie like Ananias, surely you guys should be denouncing them as a hotbed of deceitful socialistic propaganda; the Pravda of American political discourse. Meanwhile, it seems that there is a big gap in the market for a news channel which really does cater to a right-wing demographic; I am slightly surprised that no media mogul has yet taken advantage of this valuable commercial opportunity. Apparently the law of supply and demand is broken. Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.

The Simpsons isn't what it was, but Fox News is still funny.
Justifying Bush's foreign policy, Fox News host Eric Bolling said:
America was certainly safe between 2000 and 2008. I don’t remember any terrorist attacks on American soil during that period of time. Meanwhile, here's how they're spinning the phone hacking scandal:
We know it’s a hacking scandal, shouldn’t we get beyond it and deal with the issue of hacking? We have a serious hacking problem in this country, Dilenschneider reminded us. Listing several companies like CitiGroup that have been hacked into, Dilenschneider asked, Are they getting the same kind of attention for hacking that took place less than a year ago that News Corp is getting today? Yeah, why aren't corporations which were the victims of hacking being subjected to the same sort of scrutiny as the corporation that perpetrated it? That is just so unfair. I've been wondering if there has been a similar shit storm in the US as over here in the UK.

Yes. The FBI is investigating it. However, I wouldn't say "shitstorm" since most are more concerned with the Debt Ceiling. Admittedly, though, I don't follow (at all) mainstream media. I listen to WPR (Wisconsin's NPR) and read Reddit. I'd say it is about second most talked about behind the Debt Ceiling. I'm sure most people think it's a problem across the pond and nothing we need to worry about.

since most are more concerned with the Debt Ceiling. And more deeply concerned yet with Dancing with the Stars.

Can you cite any examples of ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC or NPR in which they take a member of the Democratic party involved in a sex scandal and label him as a Republican? Can you come up with anything even CLOSE to that?

That's an actual Fox News headline. See if you can connect it to the story.
They're mad, aren't they? They've just collectively gone nuts.

But to whom do those trillions belong the company, or everyone? Does a private company have a right to stake claim to an asteroid, or are celestial bodies such as the moon, planets and asteroids the communal property of all Earthlings? Since when does faux news care what private businesses do? Since when is faux news the enemy of free economy? If it had been "earthlings" (see: the UN) doing this, they'd claim some sort of NWO or One World Gov't takeover or some shit. On a brighter note, there is actually surprising lack of crazy (for once) in the comments section."Science is interesting, and if you don't agree you can fuck off." -Dawkins

not really any madder than anything around here.
If the thread is about Obama, or criticizing the left the thread is closed within the 1st 15-30 pages, they don't last that long. If a thread is here type snarky stuff about the republicans, or fox news, then it is never closed. I think that, is mad, but that is life and that is the double standard that is EvC.

Fifteen pages at 10 messages a page equals ?
Fifteen pages at 20 messages a page is? Fifteen pages at 30 messages a page is? It's not just Fox that seems to be posting Faux News.Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

What is that supposed to prove? That those news sources don't have a liberal bias? There is no "liberal bias". Conservatives didn't like Wikipedia because of it's "liberal bias" so they started their own Conservative versions. Wikipedia is created by and maintained by the PUBLIC. That means that the PUBLIC has a "liberal bias"?!? That's ridiculous. The Conservatives think that the country adheres to their ridiculous views on everything. When they discover that they are wrong, they pout and say it's unfair. Guess what, we aren't going to be living under Mosaic Law no matter how much you kick and whine.
