The theory is derived from principles identical to modern quantum field theory and is further related to the standard model. Only the cosmological aspects and Einstein's field equations are argued against. The foundations of general relativity also remain the same including Einstein's equivalence principle and the space-time metric.
This is the entire basis of a"theory of everything", where general relativity is combined with the standard model of particle physics.

His profession - his paid work - was his clerking. He couldn't get a job in academia. I suppose that makes his physics stuff a hobby - he was a mere amateur. It was a sad day for the world of patents when his hobby got out of hand. Still, they got over him.

Some act as if I haven't tried to publish the paper (and nearly succeeded), work in cooperation with universities or make my research available to the scientific community. Although I agree that this isn't the best place for a scientific debate on the theory, that was never my intention in the first place. That doesn't mean I won't respond to reasonable posts or questions however.
The response you've gotten has been reasonable. As you note, the odds against you being correct are "astronomical". If we spent our time reading all of the unlikely ideas out there, we'd never get anything done. So if you want to get people, including people here, to pay any attention to your ideas, you've got to get them vetted by the usual process.

I have a question. Your hypothesis mentions the "center of the universe". Where is it?

Gee, what a great question. Where?
I think all the big bangers should be forced to answer this. Where was the singularity located at the instant the big bang began?
Or do you escape answering this by deciding that words have no meaning when it suits you?

Everywhere.

Bad luck, old boy: despite your best efforts to drool out stupid meaningless gibberish, it is still possible to attach a meaning to your question and answer it.
Now, as your fatuous whining about the Big Bang is off topic, and as your pathetic antics are more disgusting than amusing, perhaps you could do us all a big favor and fuck off.

I don't see where he ever defines or identifies the location of the center of the universe.
He has the CMBR emerging from the universe's core, yet the CMBR arrives from all directions.

I'm not seeing it.
His YouTube video said the universe had a center. Either we're at it, or it's in a particular direction from us, and I want to know which. If you can get that from his paper, can you tell me? Thanks.

Re: Call for CaveDiver or Son Goku
I didn't give specific coordinates in my paper, but only the metric distance and general direction. If the CMBR dipole moment arises from the solar system's relative motion to the central core, then the center of the universe must exist between the two poles. This aligns exactly with the central cold patch and the local jet emerging from it's center. Breaking down the cleaned CMBR image into higher multipoles also shows the location via the quadrupole or quadrupole+octupole.
In galactic coordinates the center of the universe or central core is located at about -15 degrees latitude and 340 degrees longitude. The metric distance to the core's surface can be determined from the CMBR redshift, which is about 1089z. This equates to approximately 130 trillion light years. So light is deflecting over relatively large distances, projecting the CMBR or black body spectrum of the central core into all directions of space locally.

The location of the center of the universe is not given, but a direction to the source of the CMBR is given fairly explicitly.

Percy the CrankHead.
Precious Percy snippets:
You're really going to cherry pick a definition of crank in order to claim that you're not a crank? Really?
Would the genius who solved the most pressing cosmological conundrum of the day really find himself in the middle of an argument about whether he is or is not a crank at a creation/evolution discussion board?
Here at EvC Forum we get a lot of cranks, and you fit the profile pretty well. You must work on reining in your feelings so you can effectively modify your behavior and stop acting like a crank.
Don't fall in love with the discriminated-against maverick image you've been fostering, but rather work to become an accepted and respected member of the scientific community.
Portraying solved problems as unsolved to the uninitiated ("And I have the solution!") is a standard crank tactic. Even just promoting your ideas to the uninitiated is a standard crank tacic...
If Josephson and Gentry are really the kind of company you identify with then you'll continue to be treated like a crank by the mainstream scientific community, and deservedly so.
Alphabob, I'm calling you a crank because you're acting like a crank.
If you're a crank, then just keep doing what you're doing. We get lots of cranks here, you're fitting right in.
My advice hasn't changed. Stop acting like a crank.
Alphabob, there actually was a nugget of truth seeded into Percy's armchair vitriol he loves to spit all over himself: You would indeed have to be crazy to post anything of value at EVC.
But then it is hard to know that at first, because the website does have nice blue color and all. But then you spend more than five minutes here and see the morons and their less educated sidekicks circle jerking each other and calling Nobel laureates out of touch kooks, and listening to Percy dole out advice like he is Dr. Phil, and you get the picture pretty quick.
The best thing that can happen to you is to be called a crank by the King Crank Master. In fact, he doesn't even need to bother reading what you write beforehand, because he would never understand it anyway. But he has a big red rubber horn and clowns nose, and he loves to just squeeze it and go crank, crank, crank, anytime he reads anything too deep.
Edited by Bolder-dash, : so many pearls of wisdom, how to choose just a few...

Alphabob,
Where you see the little astericks on my post, that is where Percy's software edits the word m o r o n, because I can't write that here, because I don't give blow-jobs to Percy to write whatever I want like Dr. A does.

Thanks. But then, you see, I have to wonder: if the existence of the center is responsible for explaining the redshift, as the YouTube summary suggests, then why don't we see very different redshift phenomena according to which bit of the sky we're looking at, for example according to whether we're looking towards the center or away from it?

Alphabob writes:
I just think the use of "crank" should be left to those studying telepathy or drawing random shapes on paper and saying it's "the theory of everything". Cranks do not get accepted to publish in conventional journals, let alone be asked to resubmit at a shortened length.
Sure cranks publish in mainstream journals, the most famous example being Stephen C. Meyer's paper in the Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington. Meyer is just as sure he's right as you're sure you're right, and he believes his views are discriminated against by mainstream science, just like you do. Unlike you Meyer doesn't waste his time peddling his views at Internet discussion boards, but he's still a crank.
I don't have the necessary background in cosmology, so given how spare your explanations analyzing your claims would take a great deal of my time because I would have to do a great deal of research. Naturally I'm not going to make a big investment in time for someone who gives every indication of being a crank. Maybe Cavediver or Son Goku will check in. They already possess the necessary knowledge to evaluate your claims.
It looks like you attracted an ally in Bolder-dash - lucky you!
